Nice one - like I said I know what the pushback would be regarding this.

People have short memories - remember Sonny had a terrible first season & I remember loads of people were wanting him sold after it saying he was a dud then the counter will be Ndombele ok I get it what's the current theme here? we cannot predict the future...I'm more than happy to give Tel a full season & this signing.

Scarlett as the 3rd striker for one more season.

I get that is ambitious but we don't need back ups or rotation pieces imo, we need players that make the starting 11 better or push the starting player to keep their spot.

1 most of them are on low ish wages compared to their price tag

2 Clubs at the top end like Man City will will get the pick of the 40-60m players as they want to go to win stuff.

In short yes we pay big transfer fees but desire and wages mean we are often limited to the less quality ones. It’s like us with future stars, we can bully the likes of Brentford with Archie Gray and they are left with whoever else. We are perfect club for the range of talented young upstarts, less so for seasoned elites.
 
Tbh Kudus is the type of wide player we desperately needed. A fast paced dribbly type is something we don't have bar Odobert and he needs time to develop.

I love Mbuemo but he's a son finish first wide player which would only be important had we lost Son and had a dribblly type as well.

Johnson is a 'finish first' type and Kudus dribbly type on right. Son and Tel a 'finish first" type and Odobert a dribbly type on left.

I didn't mean Kudus is a LW, I know where he plays, pal. I meant we coulda signed a LW that's truly elite, on top of signing Kudus, who ain't WC (yet).

No idea how you can predict that for them two, who've never showed mustard levels in their career, at Spurs or else. Guess you just like them and that's enough.

Definitely seen flashes of that level
Rewatch them against Forest down the stretch.

Odobert also showed it on debut and in the EL.

Tel it’s just glaring in front of your face imo
