Doesn't work hard off the ball either, although I'd stop short of calling him lazy. If Arteta can drill that part of the game into him they could end up with a top player. Have my doubts though, I think he is what he is.

Fair, but there is definitely a mechanism through which them having way too many players immunizes them from "if he's not shit, how come he can't get into the Chelsea team?" type questions which make un-sellable donkeys of the Bryan Gil's of the world.

I remain resolute in my conviction that Todd Boehly is an idiot, but it's extremely frustrating seeing his tactics bear fruit.

Bryan Gil basically does suck though. He averages 5-6 goal contributions a season even in La Liga which is tailor made for him, if he was free a Spanish club would pick him up but Spanish clubs are broke and not paying decent money for a player they have a few of in the academy.

Petrovic if he wasn't a Chelsea player would be getting targeted anyway.
