Ben Jacobs and Alex Crook reporting…
Only missing TBR’s Graeme Bailey for the holy trinity of transfer bullshitters
Fair enough, let me revise my comment, he wasn’t good enough for us then and he is not good enough for us now. West Ham is arguably too high a level for him alsoThe point is there's a difference between saying you don't think someone is good enough and looking at last season or his current form/ability, and looking at their first senior CL game from 6.5 years ago against the pretty-much prime era barcelona.
Imagine looking at Kane at a similar stage and using that to say he's not up to it. For the low-hanging fruit there, that is intentionally a dichotomy and not a "KWP is as good as Kane" comparison. More that Kane didn't look that great until he'd played quite a few games for us (noting that Kane surpassed the number of first team apps that KWP had for us mid-way through Inter-tim's reign)
I have to imagine this keeps coming up via Mikey's agent to put pressure on his contract negotiations because otherwise it makes zero sense.
Spurs would never in a million years sell Mikey outright this summer, and while Dortmund's record of developing young foreign attackers is incredible, they won't have any interest in doing that for a player whose future they don't control.
Well Sancho was a proper senior player by that point, and they had an option to buy on Chukwuemeka.
Cunha and Mbeumo > Kudus and MGW
We’re getting left behind again.
Hojlund, Mount and Onana > Maddison, VDV and VicarioYou do realize how many times people think these types of things and they turn out to not be true?
If anything. United’s recent history we should almost be glad we don’t get players they are associated with…
