Imagine looking at Kane at a similar stage and using that to say he's not up to it. For the low-hanging fruit there, that is intentionally a dichotomy and not a "KWP is as good as Kane" comparison. More that Kane didn't look that great until he'd played quite a few games for us (noting that Kane surpassed the number of first team apps that KWP had for us mid-way through Inter-tim's reign)

Fair enough, let me revise my comment, he wasn’t good enough for us then and he is not good enough for us now. West Ham is arguably too high a level for him also
