We all blame the Greek guy but let’s be honest Levy has botched this up. OK even if he had prior knowledge of the release clause is totally irrelevant but approaching MGW and/or his agent was crazy. I know it goes on but in this case because of the release clause going to Forest first seemed the obvious thing to do.
 
Palinha at his best in a sensible set-up would allow you to play MGW or Maddison as an 8 on occasion with one of those two or Kulusevski in the attacking midfield role. Can't think of too many other players I can think of who'd take up such defensive slack.

Didn’t think about that but yes it might be viable to use Maddison in a slightly deeper role to run the play with a beast like Palhinha next to him.

As usual, our transfer policy is based on opportunity rather than necessity.

Tel - damaged goods at Bayern
Kudus - West Ham needed to sell
Palhinha - Bayern clearly want him gone
Takai - another cheap punt on a youngster
Even MGW was an opportunity because his release clause was lower than you might expect

If you are referring to me then explain what the correct way to behave around the MGW situation is? We got the "HERE WE GO" 14 days ago and if anything the deal is getting more unlikely by the day since then. Is acknowledging that and showing frustration the sign of being a melter?

I'm struggling to see what I'm allowed post on here. If I say anything positive about the club then I've one section shouting at me. And since I've started venting some frustrations I've had you on my case all summer. Very hard not to show emotion when your so invested and want the club to do better!
