Match Goons in Hong Kong. Thursday July 31. 12:30 ko

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He just loses any credibility he thinks he has, every time he posts his team sheets.
It is embarrassing really.

It’s just the price of genius unfortunately.

“There is in every madman a misunderstood genius whose idea, shining in his head, frightened people, and for whom delirium was the only solution to the strangulation that life had prepared for him”

Why the fuck are we playing friendlies with them anyway. I understand you make money but surely something is sacred?

That ship sailed a long time ago.

We pay mediocre football players like Timo Werner £160k a week to not even play football but just go training. Money is sacred that’s it.

For instance.
The club gets all up in arms if you use its logo of a football and a cockerel. It’s very important to them.
The soul of the club if you will.

Unless there is a way to earn money then that importance gets thrown out the window.

Exhibit A.

Just reminds me of the early PL years when the gulf between us and the nomads was huge. If you did a best eleven mix of the teams would any of our players get in? We might get a couple of pushes (i.e. about the same) at best...

What idiot is going to be the first to say, "It's only a pre-season game."? No it fucking isn't.

Levy proves conclusively that he doesn't give a toss about Spurs. You only play NLD's in England ffs. It's not a bloody game - it's one of the most bitter rivalries in football. The decision to agree to play this game in Hong Kong, for money, demeans and debases us as a football club. Yes, I'll be watching, but it will sicken me.

we played them not too long ago in a pre season i recall, and we beat them. think that might have been under nuno in fact

however i expect us to get a footballing lesson, a real pounding in terms of chance creating at the very least.

This could be embarassing, they’re playing 15 year olds in pre season games who look good.

We’ve got 30/40 million pound so called elite talents and we’re praying they can start to look like footballers. That’s worrying.

We are going to be absolutely humiliated in the CL

Remember losing 2-7 to Bayern in the dying embers of Poch's tenure?

Well that every week basically

And this squad is going to be hopeless at balancing prem and cups

We are absolutely fucked
I don't expect us to get humiliated in games under Frank.

I'm confident about that.

If we're heavily mismatched, he'll be practical and make sure we're drilled and robust enough to fight and make us difficult to run over.

We're still absolutely fucked in the CL tho, yeah.

Non-starter for us unless Baldcunt is hit with a lightning bolt of integrity and buys 3 more proper players.

Then we might dare look to getting to knockouts (injuries/suspensions willing).
