Whilst I’m adamant we need signings I have a feeling we will look back in a couple of years and reflect on the MGW transfer as a good one to miss out on. Honestly I was never that excited, he didn’t exactly jump off the pitch when I saw him play, not like an Eze, for example.

They need to pull their finger out, not use the tour as an excuse to not do business, and do some trading in and out. If he hasn’t realised already, Frank will now, that no manager really stands a chance here short or long term as they just aren’t given the tools. It just feels like they are stuck and not doing anything, or even worse, not willing to.

There's also a world where this tactic is so blatantly obvious to the opposition that they have plans to counter it. And that world is the real world we live in, not some fantasy land.

The lopsided 3 at the back and 1 going forward tactic works when you have the ability to do it on both sides in the same game. There needs to be fluidity. We saw with Jose pushing Aurier up and leaving Davies back that there is no threat coming down the left and all the opposition do is pack out the right hand side with an extra midfielder coming across.

If this is one of Frank's tactics then he needs to demand from Levy to bring a LB in sharpish.

Agree with some of this but Frank isno idiot and would have seen or git a sense on how we work as a club. He is not new to the PL after all.

More signings are needed and 100% with you on Gibbs-White, I was never ecstatic at the thought.i think it also tells you the player isn't up for the challenge, so bullet well and truly dodged.

We will do business. Whether it's enough to give Frank a fighting chance of top 5 we will see.

I know we have more pressing concerns like the midfield and some magic up front but our back up defence is

Spence, Davies, Danso, Gray or
Davies Vuskovic, Danso, Spence

Given the injury history of VDV, Romero and now seemingly Udogie that is just nowhere near good enough. No idea when Dragusin is expected back or if he'll be sold.

Jeez, the melting is still full on in this thread. I just went through 10 pages of whining and accusations.

We know shit about what's going on inside the club and during the deals. The MGW debacle sucks, sure, but we can't really do anything about it. Move on.

Kinsky being loaned out. Yeah, seems odd, but do we know that it's not Kinsky who's asked for more playing time than Frank can promise? Or is it just a request from Lille that's turned into a story that we're negotiating with the French about Kinsky? We don't know.

Speculating is fine and being frustrated too. Hell, I can be furious with Levy and ENIC too, but let's look forward now.

I think it's fair to say we know more than shit about what goes on in the club, after all we have been watching this shit show for 25yrs.

Hard to move forward when we all know there is likely very little to look forward to regarding transfers over the next fortnight. Traditionally we do little business when away on tour and unfortunately we have brought a lot on tour that need shifting, despite the fact the sell before buy narrative is likely to resurface shortly.

It's extremely frustrating watching those who should be our rivals strengthen from positions of strength, while we, after one of our worst league finishes dawdle and mess up seemingly easy transfers.
