Levy has 100% planted it with a fake approach to Rodrygo to get the heat off the Gibbs-White story.
Well “try” and then he’ll turn us down or just get sold to a bigger club after we lay the groundwork. Seen it a million times under the Bald One.
We’ll end up with Palhinha on loan and maybe a cut price deal for some player we haven’t been linked to yet.
It’s all so boring for anyone who pays attention and has even a modicum of critical thinking.

I don't know about everyone else but I am firmly looking over my shoulder to make sure Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland are worse than us.
Even though I am not completely sold on Frank, I thought we would push for top six with the required investment. But now I am absolutely convinced there will be one more Odobert like addition on deadline day (so we don't have to pay his wages in July and August) and we will go into yet another season short handed and without balance in the squad.
Anyway, long live 10th July 2025. Those were indeed the heady heights.

Have they worked their way down the list yet?
There are definite, real world benefits for any club to try to make themselves look more ambitious than they actually are.
1) tickets
2) player retention
3) manager retention
4) sponsors
5) attracting investment
6) driving up share prices
