So are we laughing at the goons or what?

Will be sad to see him go. Almost as sad as seeing us not adequately replace him.

This is good for him and the club and exactly how it should be with a player of his calibre. Go at the right time before you lose it completely and tarnish your rep by hanging it out to long and the fans end up hating you for not being the player you were.

Last season was a massive drop off - and he still managed to be our most productive player - which says as much about the other attacking doughnuts as it does about him. It was the first year I can remember he underscored his expected goals, usually he was a good over score banker.

I won't be surprised if the MGW deal still goes through this summer and we get him before the window closes. Many discussions on that video with his club owner about his new deal. My view of the body language is that he knows a deal is going through but he needs to wait, be patient, be polite and go along the process. The process of making the NF owner look good, gets his 70 mil (or so), MGW goes to Spurs, and everybody is happy, even fans of both sides.

Given that thought. If the player does not want to fight to join us, I absolutely don't care about him. Excellent player the checks all boxes of what we need, but, if he doesn't want to join, why waste my time. Spurs are bigger and more important to me.

If he pushes for that move he'll probably wake up with a horses head in his bed!

At one end of the spectrum we have Richard Arlison Richard Arlison who doesn’t believe we even bid for him.

At the other end we have this, where MGW is still coming.

Where did you read me saying that "I believe" it is going to happen. I know the deal is OFF, GONE, FINITO.

I only said ''I won't be surprised" if it eventually happens based on my personal interpretation of the body language in the video.

The ship has sailed, i know. I am not clicking around or following MGW or NF to get updates. I couldn't care less.

I was talking about how he looked in the video. Sorry if I am late to the "Video-Reaction-Discussion-Party"

SHEESH!!!

Despite losing a step Son is probably still lightning fast by MLS standards though.

Last season he was still wreaking havoc on Hoffenheims and Elfsborgs of the world, despite having a -much- more difficult time against better opposition.
Love Sonny and will forever cherish his legacy at Spurs. But if you watch him last year, I’d say he lost 2 steps off his peak. No longer runs away from anyone. Watched the EL final yet again and there are moments when he could have been away, but just can’t anymore.

He still has magic in him w his shots, but can no longer get in position to fire.

Better to see him off, which puts pressure on getting in a real option to replace him.

Really short conflab that one

Levy: we’ve got loads of money in our project

Rodrygo: really? So 250k pw shouldn’t be a problem?

Levy: you’re through to Daniel Levy’s voicemail, please leave a message after the tone and his baldness will get back to you soon.

Rodrygo: Mr Levy? U still there?
Levy is not frightening enough to be addressed to as 'Mr'.
