Levy's not an idiot.

He's played his part in the MGW escapade which, if genuine, suggests we have been scouting for players in Maddison's position and have the money to buy someone.

Tottenham's need for this type of player has just become more acute.

He has to get his finger out of his arse and sort it out.

If he gets it right; Kulu is back in September.

Maddison is not a big miss in my opinion.
Kulu is no good. Poor winger worse n10

Grealish no thanks.

We need a passer in there, not someone who dribbles with the ball too much.
I’m not sure on Grealish now but he gives you ball retention. We’re shit quite honestly at retaining possession in the final third and sustaining pressure. we caugh up the ball so easily at times either because players are isolated or they can’t protect the ball.

Maddison was decent at both really. Underated as a dribbler. I don’t think we have that many effective ball carriers anyway.

Kudus and Odobert…

150 million of funding coming in . Uncle Joe has just given us 50 million to help out . I work in a bank and I know for a fact we have a 300 million overdraft facility set up for transfers as I did the paperwork . We have new investors from Saudi , we have new investors from Qatar . Levy has finally agreed a naming rights deal it is with Aramco .

Stop melting you weaklings , it might be time to worry if all the above is croc of shit . Until then I’m chilling out
Would be nice if true, if they have this money aren't they leaving it late to bring in some top talent?

Yeah Eze doesn’t fill the Maddison hole.
I do.

You guys are on some serious hard shit if you think Eze coming has any semblance of being a realistic option for us. It seems like he wants the scum anyways.

Set unrealistic expectations, be severely disappointed. Literally setting it up for failure.
I don't see what's unrealistic about it. We have a chairman that has declared he wants to win premier leagues and champions leagues.

Who cares when was the last time we brought in an elite player? We should be doing that. Just because Levy has lowered your standards so much, doesn't mean we all eat that shit.

How's that doing them down? It's true. They aren't good enough for an elite club right now. What other club who charges the price of tickets that Levy does, goes into a season with CL football, hoping that a kid who has barely made any impact at all in the PL so far, is good enough to be a starting LWF? You can delude yourself as much as you want, it's not good enough.

I am talking about Odobert, but it also applies to Tel. Who has shown practically fuck all so far in a Spurs shirt really. And Odobert looks potential and that is it. It's a huge gamble going into the season with those two as first choice, when they haven't shown they can score more than a goal in a PL season let alone make a sufficient impact.

I had the same conversation with people like you last summer no doubt. I bet you were one of those who was saying that Gray was going to be Roy Keane reincarnatted and walk staright into the team, hence we didn't need top CM brought in. And that Odobert was absolutely fine being our top LWF signing for that summer. How did that turn out?

You seriously think if we are lining up in the CL games this season, that Odobert or Tel are good enough to be a LWF? do you think that will strike fear into the opposition? No, we need to bring in someone who can deliver now, and let Tel and Odobert rotate and develop naturally over a few seasons.

Same shit every summer. We don't do nearly enough in the window, and then we get people on here patronising those of us with concerns. Fuck that, no other top elite club signs kids and then waits for them to develop and pretends to try and be competitive, all the while kidding the fans we want to win the CL and PL and charging highest prices in the country.

And I don't drink by the way.

"I had the same conversation with people like you last summer no doubt"

"people like you"

People like me have a realistic perspective of the club, not one seen sitting in front of a monitor playing Championship Manager.

Tel and Odobert are just twenty, and will need time. Frank appears to see that.

'Fuck that, no other top elite club signs kids and then waits for them to develop and pretends to try and be competitive'

Now wind your neck back in and learn something useful today, and to save you worrying about having to reply 'people like me' i have put you on ignore.
