And RM had a buyback on Reggie. A lot of our fan base (including me) were cacking their pants RM would use it after 2 years. To be fair Reggie was decent for us in the first couple of years.
Its a myth though , the reason we aren't competing for the top players is we won't pay Top wages! Untill we break our wage structure we will never be competing for the very best players.
For what its worth I actually like the way we have been operating with some of the younger players we have got over the last few years, its just you still need to bring in experienced players as well , we are close to having a good squad and only need 2 or 3 top players in however TF will be left short, Levy will be wanting him to work with what he has and see what he can do, i'd love to be proved wrong but the reason we went for someone like TF is he has shown with Brentford he can do well with minimal investment.
