No way we should be accepting that BS. Highest season ticket in Europe to watch Bournemouth run rings round us. Fuck off... protests before second International break and Frank out chants by Xmas if tgat shit happens.

Good riposte... nice to know we have some in our fanbase happy to eat a shit sandwich every season.
Christ - more utter BS - haha

We watched Bournemouth run rings round us plenty under Ange and that didn't seem to bother you? As for Newcastle, who is to say we approach Newcastle the same as Bournemouth anyway, he's not a one dimensional one trick pony.

Anyway, possession isn't the same as "running rings around", there are plenty of games under Ange we had plenty possession but were totally clueless with what to do with it.

Just give the dude a chance. He's been fucked over in terms of squad strength from day one.

I was never keen on Frank but once he got the job you have to give him a chance. However I am massively concerned about the style of play I've seen so far... 38% possession against Newcastle is woeful and as you said, it feels like we are going to try and grind out results with terrorist football. It will be ok if he grinds out wins but as soon as those wins become draws and those draws become defeats he will be rightly criticised. You don't get the luxury of time in football. If we struggle this season he will be replaced and rightly so. We can then bury the myth that a half decent coach would have last seasons squad in and around top six.
Talk about getting ahead of yourself. I have no doubt that the trajectory Ange was on would have seen us lose every one of the pre-season friendlies we have played this summer. We now have a tactically sound coach who improves players. We also have a slightly better squad, Palhinha and Kudus add some steel we needed (though Ange appeared clueless as to when we needed what characteristics).

You'd have given him no time if so. Unless the team is falling off a cliff then 2 seasons.

btw I don't care too much about possession stats. Aimless passing around the back in a horseshoe is for the Goons thank you.

Some of the most exciting footie I saw in the last few seasons was Conte's top 4 season, I can't believe we had too much possession then either but we were scoring for fun until Doherty was crocked by Cuntface

Planning to rely on Ben Davies at FB in 2025 is a massive red flag to me, tbh. We’re supposed to be data led. His numbers playing CB last season were poor. Poor in duels and heading. This is not Brentford, mate.

Ok so we should top 4 then. As a complete baffoon managed to get 5th with a worse squad in his first season. I'm suddenly looking forward to this season now.

Where do you get the impression I wasn't bothered by Bournemouth running rings round us last season. You're making shit up because you wrongly think I'm some kind of Ange sympatiser. I will give Frank a chance but so far I don't see what he's trying to implement which should be a concern for any fan of the club.

Because you've spent all summer whining about Ange getting sacked and you've spent the whole time shitting on Frank.

Multiple lesser clubs came to WHL last season and took the piss out of us. The idea that now Frank is here the likes of Bournemouth will "run rings around us" like we haven't somehow been watching that already for the best part of two years is hilarious.

The idea you're going to give Frank a chance is ludicrous to be honest.

How I feel with Frank is an intelligent bloke, good man management by the looks of it and structured. Already he has made us more solid. Curious though whether we have gone from one end of scale to another. Time will tell. I hope he does well but if he dont Poch and Tuchel will be available in 2026.

Rubbish. You are lying. I was ok with Ange going but no ok that we replaced him with Frank. But if you go back and read, when the deal for Frank was complete I was accepting that this is where we've landed. However, I've watched 4 pre season games and see no clesr identity and no firm tactics. I get it, it's preseason so if you see something I'm missing then please enlighten me. Ps. Agree Frank has been fucked over but I factor that in to my observations. Every manager we have gets fucked over.
