Needy cunt.
The ease with which City want to do business for Savio almost takes the shine off the deal. Like what do they know that we don’t?
He scored one premier league goal in over 2000 minutes of football last season.. as an attacker.
I think he’s a good signing but we really need to work on the word bargain if we think it applies here. It’s 50 million pounds.

What would this place be without you?
Of course they're going to say they don't want to sell but we don't go to the trouble of bidding for the player if it was a complete non starter after enquiring.
So yes they'll sell for the right price, of course they will.
I do think that Kudus and Savinho are closer in profile respectively to Semenyo and Kluivert who were playing either side of Solanke when he scored 19 PL goals for Bournemouth, so if we could encourage a similar return for Solanke this season, get between 5-10 out of Savinho and Kudus (provided Savinho comes), hopefully sign a new 10 who can chip in with 5-10 in Maddison and Kulu's absence and have Johnson and Richy providing goals off the bench we might actually be ok next year, a lot of ifs, buts and maybes in there though, I'm not against trying to turn Johnson into a Dele type 10 if we can't find the right profile of 10 but can find a good passing 8 to throw behind him, Johnson turning up late in the box to get on the end of a Kudus/Savinho pass or through ball could be quite fearsome tbh especially as Solanke is quite good at creating space up top.I think Kudus and Savinho would represent a step in the right direction but it's looking like the best part of £120m for two players that scored 6 goals combined in the Prem last year

Is there any world where this opens up MGW to Spurs again?

They signed Doherty for Jose and Emerson for Conte… it’s always ass backwardsThe bit that frustrates me most is that we always seem to be behind with our targets Let me explain.
Mourinho had Kane and Son in the form of their lives while also getting a tune out of Ndombele and Hojbjerg. He just needed a top centre back (Sanchez, Dier, Tangana, Rodon were all starting regularly). He never got that top centre back. We signed Romero the summer after sacking him!
Conte played a back 5 so our attacking options were fine. Bentancur and Hojbjerg had a great relationship in midfield and Deki Kane Son was a fantastic front 3. Conte needed better wing backs and a much better left sided centre back (Emerson, Sessegnon, Ben Davies all starters). We only signed Lenglet on loan. The summer after we sacked him we went and signed Porro, Udogie and Van De Ven!
Ange had a better all around team but we'd obviously lost Kane which was a massive blow. His style required touchline wingers who could beat a man. Brennan Johnson and son were not them players. We only gave Ange Werner on loan and an 19 year old called Odobert. The summer after we sack Ange we go and sign 2 of the best dribblers in the league - Kudus and hopefully Savinho!
This trend is amazing isn't it. We seem to always be 12 months behind with our signings and never give the current manager exactly what they are looking for! It always felt like we had the perfect Conte team under Ange. Now it feels like we could have the ideal Ange team under Frank!
Because they bought 3 or 4 real ballers in the last 6 months, and will reluctantly let him go to recoup some money (PSR) and free up squad space as they’re over subscribed. Not for me
Makes me question a bit why city are so keen to sell after a year
No, Levy refused any negotiations with them. How could they offer anything when there was noone to talk to. He did the same with Chelsea when they came for Modric.
