My biggest worry is Romano is a bit of a pay piece. Clubs pay him to talk about their transfer or club.

News of protests and the Super Cup final, the skeptic in me believes the club are using the Eze rumour to deflect. I’d be more confident if Ornstein was reporting it.

Time will tell I guess.

Worst thing to happen was Ornstein crediting Indykaila for a stab in the dark transfer rumour. The amount of shite they’ve posted since, with no real source or sense, is remarkable.

Why would his agent NOT want him to come to us? I dont imagine he gives a shit where Eze goes - so long as the £££ keeps rolling in.

All he's doing, is his job, which is to drive competition for his player to maximise the £££ output at the end for them both.

I get a feeling both clubs are waiting for the clause to expire so they can make an offer structured better for them. £70m spread over 5 years rather than £60m upfront. If that's the case then he'll go to Woolwich.

However, I don't think he'll be guaranteed game time there, as Odegard is captain and he's not an outright LW. He'd start weekly for us in the 10 and be our main creator.

They can offer above the RC now if they wished. Makes no difference.

I think Woolwich might just sign him and worry about selling players after. I think this one ends in tears. Just have a bad feeling about it.

I don't think anything we read in the media or online has any semblance of truth in it.

All this bollocks about player xxxx only wanted Everton etc is just bullshit.

I'm sure he'd like Woolwich but he's also practical and Woolwich surely won't spend another 60 odd mill on him if they haven't done it by now - the door has been firmly open to them all window and still he's not their man.

I think the fact we're also London based is an appeal to humans he won't have to uproot.
