Match Super Cup Final - Spurs vs PSG, Weds 13th Aug, 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The same thing happened tonight like the Europa final that after Richy went off, their defenders had all the time to start the attacks. While he may be limited, you just can't fault his effort in making himself a nuisance in front and disrupt them so well. Solanke was obviously unfit to do that at all. Tel is just Tel. Lazy.

Someone talked about penalties before the game and I thought they were mad to think we would get there. However at 2-0 I really thought we had it. Disappointed but lots of positives but we lost. Biggest negative apart from the result is some of the players looked knackered and only 3 days to Burnley.

We won the final we needed too. This is just nothing pre season friendly. Glorified charity shield. They have barely played no more than a week. They weren’t anywhere near match fit. Gave a good account of ourselves though. This ain’t worth losing any sleep of over. I’ll be more fucked off if we lose Saturday

Weirdly annoyed about tonight's results. A lot of the players looked like footballers again, which I was starting to question based on the last 4 months of league form.

You'd hope that we look at this and realise we don't have a squad that is deep enough to compete in the league and CL, and swiftly move forward with Savio and a nr 10.

There are no positives from a game for which PSG had no opportunity to prepare, that was a kickabout for them
Pal, come on...even without proper prep, PSG are still a crazy good side. And we're still pretty much the same team that lost 22 in the PL last year, conceding 15 goals to Liverpool, struggling vs Tamworth & Coventry etc.

Losing to the champions of Europe on pens after leading for 85 mins, even if they were at 50 or 60% of their usual abilities tonight, I'm still giving the lads some creds.

It's lovely that, it is not panic stations and chaos, like it was under Ange.

Played well. Still a long way to go, but promising signs.

I think it is also important for us to win this, not because it's a trophy, but for the player to believe in the manager and really get behind him.

Winning this, would do that a world of good.
and attract players
That was a colossal bottling, there's no other way to put it
Bottling is an unnecessary insult. We were the better team, our suns were wrong….Gray for Palhinha at that stage…big no. Frank did brilliantly until then. Might get Eze and Savinho but we need a striker
