Until it can eradicate a good old fashioned brain fart, data-led information on players will NEVER be 100% reliable!
Nah, the whole thing is a scam. “Ooh we want to be like Brighton, or Brentford,” etc, etc. The use of data is only a tool in the greater whole. And a whole load of grifters have glammed on to jobs in football clubs from owners who don’t understand what those other clubs are doing.
When it was first mooted that we were following the data led approach i just knew we'd do it really half arsed, think i posted as much as we're never innovative. It was just flavour of the month. Brighton and Brentford have used betting company data for years and have extensive knowledge on how to use it. We probably just have Lange using Wyscout.
Hitchen, Baldini, Commolli and Mitchell will invite him for pizza like Pearce did Southgate.

why have you put 9/10 next to Kulusevski?
Yeh it works because they buy players cheap and look to sell them on for huge fees. Often to mugs like us. It’s less successful when you’re spending far more on players, you have less margin for error and a lot more to lose.
Based on the fee we have paid for him I would view him as a 9/10. His form directly led to us getting in the Champions League his first season. His only issue has been injuries and I don't think you can put that the Sporting Directors head unless its an old injury prone player. Maybe even Maddison we knew was injury prince.
A few players with a different score doesn't change much. My point is there is not really much of a difference between the 2 of them. Paratici had more wins but he also had more losses.

Sadly all the data points towards the conclusion that Lange is a useless cunt when it really matters.
Did Lange also sign Vuskovic?
Honestly, when I look at that list, it’s not that bad. I think it’s a little early to have Tel and Odobert locked in as 5’s and I’m still hopeful that Gray comes around. I know, it’s hard to know, and definitely debatable.
But the only true bust so far is Werner, and that was just an ill-advised loan. If it was his decision to go after MGW, Eze and Savinho I can’t fault him there. If we got 2/3 of those three it would’ve been immense.
Considering he had two stays with us and on a more than healthy pay packet, perhaps you're being slightly generous with that rating?
