2 first teamers. palhinho and kudus. The fact Palhinho is a loan with an option is actually better than a permanent signing.

Only player we have lost of significance is Son. But he would have been an impact sub to Tel / Odobert given his key skill involved speed and he has lost that. Time waits for no man.

1 or 2 more first teamers in the 10 or LW position and this is 9/10 window. Lots of options out there. We don’t need Eze the gooner fan.

Da fuck?!.....we've also 'lost' Kulu and Maddison for the majority of the season mate, are you not keeping up?!
It will never be a 9/10 window now, even if we signed Rodrygo and Savinho, we've been publicly humiliated twice! 'Kin'ell...🤦‍♂️
 
I don’t think we will struggle too much, so many teams from last year are much weaker now. Wolves, West Ham, Palace, Bournemouth, Brentford, Villa - all weaker.

Everton, Brighton and Fulham haven’t done much at all.

I expect little of the 3 promoted sides.

Therefore, despite our issues, top 8 is definitely doable this year and if we did fluke 2 quality signings between now and the window closing then I fancy we finish above Forest as well and will be in a foot race with the Geordies for 6th. The other members of the top 6 are now miles in front of us though
 
We still don't have enough quality in the team to be able to win consistently in the PL. I don't look at our squad and see attackers that can expect to win tough games at places like Palace, Fulham, Forest etc.

As things stand we won't be diabolical at home like we were under Ange because we will defend properly, but to win away games you need serious quality and we have less of that than we did last year with Son and Maddison out.

Well im watching villa now and there losing and look very poor overall. I think there squad has peaked tbh. Emery had already squeezed the maximum out of it.

If frank gets the couple of players were linked too I think we can get anywhere from 3rd (unlikely) to 6th.
Either way id be fairly confident of achieving 5th.
 
I think we’ll be anywhere from 5-8th depending on injuries, could challenge for more if we really come into form.
 
Need to see how we play after CL nights first but the way we played vs Burnley after PSG was still the most exciting development of the Frank era imo.

Not that I’m bored of beating City but we’ve been here before
