Levy is the roadblock unfortunately. We seem to have about 120-140m burning a hole in our pockets that we just can't put to good use!
As long as this keeps up, and our players health keeps up, theres no reason we can make a dark horse run at the title.
Levy should be seeing this and thinking "if I simply add some real quality here, we might really be capable of having a go at it".
This right now is the place where you look at your hand, see how strong it is, and vastly increase your bet. These are the high-percentage chances. Levy has a real chance here to back Frank and do something special.

I actually think we’re a striker and lw away from having a similar team to Poch, I think the league is just so much stronger now though.
Think a top six spot is achievable, obviously can't take any team for granted but there are an awful amount of average teams out there so if and that might be a big if We could get in a couple of proven guys that won't do any damage to us when they come on in games we could be well there and give the top teams something to think about .

Tight margins an all. We actually have a big opportunity to make strides forward this year and get 5th place and cl again if we can get quality signings over the line. We may even be able to pick off one of the top 4 teams because I fancy the wheels to come off one of them as the season progresses.

By the way, 5th won’t get champ lge this year. We have 9 clubs in Europe this year. The points gained are averaged out over all clubs.
The extra place has only ever been gained by countries with 7 clubs. Only needs a couple of clubs to under perform and it’s gone. Who knows how Forest and palace will cope with Thursday Sunday games. Or us for that matter.

Think you might be right about no extra CL place. That probably means we will get 5th.
He's definitely always thinking of ways to save money. Prob is thinking just that. I wish he would "dare to do" differently for once.

Me, I'm on the wide eyed optimism and blind faith gravy train. I think we are going to win the first quadruple and and not only romp the league but go the whole season winning every game.

But if we play like we did the first 3 matches, we have a better chance to win them all.
One game at a time. We'll have cup games mixed in too with most of them.
If we want to achieve anything this season though, they are all games we need to win.
I'm really excited to see how Frank navigates them all.
That’s it once the 2 games a week kick in, the squad if not strengthened will look quite fragile.
We need to buy at least 2 first team ready players this week. We might as well write off Maddison and Kulusevski now so they need replacing.
