In what world are Como turning down €70 million?
Wouldn't happen unless they think we'd go higher.
Como owners are filthy rich they don't need to sell

I said it earlier, Romano seems to have confirmed it. Madrid are blocking any move for him this window and are going to compensate Como for it next season.
I don’t get what’s so hard to follow.
Can’t expect Porro and Spence to play every match.
Romero, Mickey and Udogie all have major injury worries. And everyone needs to be rotated if healthy
I don’t want Ben Davies starting any meaningful games.
This is a no brainer move.
What the fuck is going on? Every single deal we have tried to get over the line has failed? Despite making sizeable bids.
MGW? Eze? Paz?
Never seen a summer like it
Hmmm...very risky from Como.I said it earlier, Romano seems to have confirmed it. Madrid are blocking any move for him this window and are going to compensate Como for it next season.
Yeah, it doesn't quite make sense. I can believe the player rejecting us, or perhaps Como rejecting the bid (maybe 35 million share is not enough and the "help" from Madrid means much more), but how and why would Real Madrid match any bid from Tottenham (unless it means matching contracts but then he isn't their player)? All they have to do is convince Paz to wait a year and buy him for 10m Euros. I am not even sure Real Madrid could stump up 70 million for him anyway. This is made up rubbish.

Ahhh I didn't know this. How rich? Rich enough to buy an English club and chuck money about?
Probably get up in the morning and find out he's signed for Palace !
It's been obvious for weeksI am beyond convinced now that Levy is intentionally targeting difficult/impossible big money deals that he knows will fall through but will look ambitious.
It has to be intentional at this point. Fool me once fool me twice but the third time can no longer be a coincidence.
He’s a prick mate,it’s not even worth the effort.Just waiting for Fabregas to say something like joining Spurs would be a backwards step![]()
I get that but am I wrong in thinking all transfers are not paid in full? They are usually divided over 3 payments, usually over 2 seasons? So the estimated revenue for that 2 season period is calculated in the sale from the buying club?Think of it like your debit card, there's a contactless limit of £100 or whatever it is now, but you've only got say £60 in your account, you can't go and tap your debit card to buy something for £80 just because the contactless limit is £100.
Now I don't know exactly how much money Spurs have in the accounts, but the £300m headroom means nothing if the club only has £100m in funds available.
I mean it's great that we've identified these players as targets, but dumb as anything to let the media know what our targets are - especially if we're not going to be able to sign them. But like savinho he will be a future superstar so in that sense I do pat the club on the back for identifying these players as targets but its all completely useless unless we sign them.
