We laugh at them (as we must), but they are acting like a dead-serious football club with genuine, tangible ambition to win everything.

Even though they can't get it over the line (let's hope they don't upgrade on Artita any time soon).

Whilst we project that our only purpose is to be a business and fleece the fans, offering whatever can be gotten away with back to them.

As 'amusing' as that is, the sad truth is that they DO have someone ready made to slot straight into the hole he leaves .. (knowing them though, he'll probably be on the bench Sunday!!)

That's what I just can't understand our hierarchy can't grasp!

It’s like they think just because it happened last year and the year before it won’t happen this year.
 
I've got a horrible, horrible, horrible feeling they are, finally, gonna win the title.

They'll have the depth this time.

Just gotta hope Arteta doesn't loosen up on his Stokeballing.

If he reverts to playing more like they did in 22/23 they have a real chance.

Agree I think they will. They have the best defence in the league, they have had for a few seasons already. It means they can win even when they don't play well. They can also score from set pieces.

They aren't the most fluid to watch, but it's effective.

Now they have added depth and goals, I think they will finally do it.

And that sickens me to the core.

Makes me sick mate. We've wanted Hincapie for about 2 years as well. Makes me mad how much pull they have with players now.

They haven't really had that in a long time.

Josh Kroenke is really showing up how terrible and umambitious Levy is. Each season goes past, Levy never properly wants to compete. He's happy with us challenging for top 5 and that's it.

Having a decent, but lesser 2nd option is not the same thing as having no back-up.

I think the point posters are making is if Kudus gets injured there's not attacking players in other positions as good as he is unless the club sign a LW or AMF of a similar level, then it won't be so critical if Kudus did get injured, and his back up isn't at the same level.

Exactly that!.
We were linked with(or already had) 4 players in that list...

Not saying we'd have got all 4, but fucking hell, a couple wouldn't have been TOO much to ask, would it?

Hmmm...it's a poor list though.

Norgaard - We were linked with every Brentford player cos of Frank joining.

Madueke - Yeah ex-academy but wanted out and ended up at Chavs. Clearly no affinity for us.

Gyökeres - Looks absolutely awful and keeps licking his hands.

Eze - Didn't wanna come to us so much he called them and begged them to sign him.

Don't really feel that bad we missed out on any of them tbh.
 
After all this time they went and signed a wardrobe instead of a striker, they'll be competing alright but for the:

'We really did this time almost but not quite put the pressure on' Trophy

If we do our jobs as well and take 6 points from the cunts, as we should be doing, they'll be so far off it. I reckon this season with Frank we start to readdress the balance in the NLD.
6 points is a lot we need to grab them points for ourselves.

Wouldn't shirk Hincapie or Zubimendi. Both classy footballers who would make a big difference to our squad.

Not sold on any of the rest. I wanted Eze years ago but have a feeling he'll crock halfway through the season.
