Xavi is Eriksens successor for sure. That level of quality.
His numbers are very similar to what Son was in Bundesliga. Same age and he has been consistent. I have a really good feeling about this guy unlike Muani.

The number of “Kolo”s certainly fits.
IDK about Klinsmann but getting Simons is a huge coup for Tottenham. To me that's the biggest surprise of the transfer window (in addition to Wirtz not going to Bayern Munich).
Very, very different players. Compared to Simons, Son is/was like a machine. Simons is like a no-nonsense Neymar. Extremely confident, great on the ball, can do anything with it. Mercurial.
Simons is like a football Steph Curry before he worked with Steve Kerr.
If Frank can be that type of presence for him, there’s literally no ceiling.

Hoddle - for that banger Diamond Lights nah just kidding... was 20 years ahead of the game.. there was nothing he couldn't do with a ball at his feet
Ginola - during some serious dark times Ginola was the only light... a mercurial maverick and not a bad looking chap
van der Vaart - still to this day I don't know how Harry pulled this one off... wasn't here long but loved a goal against Woolwich and just made us better and more entertaining
Sonny - consummate professional who scored some worldies... stayed and toughed it out when he could easily have left
These players got you off your seat. Scored amazing goals. Carried the team when it was on it's knees.

Excited about the signing. But, I think we will have to wait a few months for him to get up to speed and before we see the best of him. The PL isnt the Bundesliga.
