Player Xavi Simons

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If Maddison can get back to his best next season, we’ll have some very tasty creative options.

Playing from the left would work well with the way udogie likes to bomb forwards on the overlap. I know spence is seen as no1 left back right now but I think udogie + simoms would be a great combination.

He's not a young player. He's been around. This was a major coup for THFC to get him. He is a young player but should not be considered such. Frank said that during his press conference when Xavi's transfer went through. He's like a young Christiano Ronaldo type a player. Yes, young. But huuugely talented and with enormous resume. He's by far the highest value THFC possess right now.
Agreed. Our biggest signing since Klinsmann

Bmouth just beat us with 34 year old Adam Smith at RB!

There is hope that Ben can do a serviceable job there for us too, I guess.

His numbers are very similar to what Son was in Bundesliga. Same age and he has been consistent. I have a really good feeling about this guy unlike Muani.
Very, very different players. Compared to Simons, Son is/was like a machine. Simons is like a no-nonsense Neymar. Extremely confident, great on the ball, can do anything with it. Mercurial.

Over the years we've always had a player we worship above others.

Hoddle - for that banger Diamond Lights nah just kidding... was 20 years ahead of the game.. there was nothing he couldn't do with a ball at his feet
Ginola - during some serious dark times Ginola was the only light... a mercurial maverick and not a bad looking chap
van der Vaart - still to this day I don't know how Harry pulled this one off... wasn't here long but loved a goal against Woolwich and just made us better and more entertaining
Sonny - consummate professional who scored some worldies... stayed and toughed it out when he could easily have left

These players got you off your seat. Scored amazing goals. Carried the team when it was on it's knees.

Step forward Xavi and become the next idol - don't be one and done.
