ENIC In or ENIC Out

For a long, long time I was ENIC & Levy out believing it was by in large the same thing.

The last week or so though has given me plenty of thought, to the point I'm willing to give ENIC another chance if they really have now prioritised success. Some very encouraging words and actions post-Levy. Just hope it isn't all talk and that they haven't pulled my pants down.

"We have their (ENIC) firm backing"

Also, big one for me "we need to make sure we sell players at the right time"
I don't hate that.
Don’t hate that selling thing either, as long as they succession plan - something they were inept with until now.

I still think “why now”. For most of the last quarter century this mob ran it through Daniel as cheaply as possible. Never committed a bean from themselves, so why now ?

I clearly don’t trust easy. And as I said earlier in the week. We are being asked to believe that those who owned 80% are not to blame, but the bloke who owned 20% is to blame. Not sure I believe this at all.

As a guess, I would say it's the more connected offspring wanting more for the club now they have greater influence. I ain't got a Scooby though.

One thing that's become apparent, wether you were in the majority who wanted him out, or the dwindling minority who still supported him, Levy had become a hugely divisive figure within our football club.

Within the boardroom, amongst the players and ex players and most importantly amongst the fan base. As this very forum proves. It's almost as though we were supporting different teams.

Even now, after he's gone, people are still fighting there corner and refusing to back down.

This divisive nature alone is surely good enough reason for him to go. Even the Levy IN guys surely appreciate this.

The mourning period / celebration period is over.
Time for the healing process to begin

I think they're more likely to sell us than back us to success now tbh.
Hopefully they won't take 25 more years to figure out their next move.

I dunno what the bloke in block 530 with the high pitched voice is gonna squeal now tbh.
The usual tirade of "Levy you fucking cunt" and similar will have to change.

Any poster on here now excited and creaming at the idea of huge investment is just a wannabe City or Chelsea fan. Sickens me.

We will now go from something resembling stable to a club who will simply wait for the investor who offers an amount that turns the 'no sale' signs to let's talk.

We are on the cusp of becoming another sh!tty and empty club, owned by people who seriously could not give a fcuk.

Thank God we won the Europa when it meant something to some of us at least
Sure, while everyone else in the premier League is backed by the super rich, which is certainly the trajectory. We'll longer in either mediocrity or struggling to stay afloat because, "We're doing it the right way, and that's good enough for me".

Nah, feck that. I like the feeling of winning, and if you can't beat them join them.

‘Vinai you fucking bald cunt’ sort of rolls off the tongue though..

I imagine we’ll hear that in good time.
He sits a good few rows behind me, so I have NFI what he looks like.

But I imagine this guy with an English accent.
