ENIC In or ENIC Out

He’s not got enough money, googled his net worth and it’s only 10 million dollars!

I’d rather keep ENIC or see what Staveley has up her sleeve.
One person representing a group is not were the money is. Tod Boehly spent more than his net worth buying Chelsea, hasn't stopped them pumping well over a billion into the playing side since that. I mean if he only had $10m, do you reckon he asked for the club for free or something?

Besides that, the new guidelines to determine stewardship of a PL team is now extremely strict. If there's any ambiguity around wealth, or means to operate a club, it won't pass. Plus all this modern football is dick swingjng, and you increase global brand, thus revenue from being successful. We're not getting another Levy type of we get bought out.

Sure, while everyone else in the premier League is backed by the super rich, which is certainly the trajectory. We'll longer in either mediocrity or struggling to stay afloat because, "We're doing it the right way, and that's good enough for me".

Nah, feck that. I like the feeling of winning, and if you can't beat them join them.

Nope, once that happens, and it now seems if, not when, I won't be taking an a active interest.

Play fcuking things for the stupidly, perversely, corrupted rich, with me genuflecting at their feet or being nonchalant over success.

Fcuk that sh!t.

Nothing can replicate the surprise of victory, and even more so against the backdrop of we could win nothing under Levy.

It's not that I cared about Levy, but just thought some of the abusive drivel shone a light on.the kind of sh!t some people have as opinions and what you can see coming down the track.

Good luck to you and all others who have your mantra. Not me.

Is Joe Lewis dead?

The Vivian Lewis stuff is Twitter rumour, unless there is a quote out there that says otherwise.

We are living under the same regime as we've always done, one of total media black out. Even in the aftermath of Levy leaving all we've got today is "sources close to the owners".
It has been said that Joe no longer has control of the family business. His children are in Exec positions in ENIC. Now this changed some time ago and possibly with respect to Joe the children have taken time to act. They had an independent review done. I would be surprised if Joe was still in control that Levy would have gone. It remains to be seen how much change we will see but at least we no longer have Levy upsetting other clubs chairmen to the extent they will not deal with us.

2-5 years ago I'd have agreed to be fair so I get were you're coming from to be fair. But that's City, Liverpool, Newcastle all pretty much Gulf State playthings (Liverpool are Saudi backed by proxy. FSG are heavy into the PIF). Then you have Chelsea, Villa once they get their PSR sorted which is a medium term thing, but they'll be there soon.

Then other clubs will inevitably go down the same route. It's impossible to keep up without it now. FIFA and UEFA have failed the sport, but it's too late to go back.

As for the club being "Not for sale", to say I hold little value in that is a gross understatement. They left Levy along all summer into thinking he was part of this new order. They knew they'd be sacking him months and months ago, and this was a man that essentially made them into this giant revenue machine. So yeah, what they say, I hold no value in. To me it says that either, those groups wanted a minority investment, to which they now don't want, or the offers fell flat of what they want.

It's not has been said, so much as it's a matter of fact. All of Joe Lewis shares in ENIC got signed over to his family trust. I suspect to avoid getting the club involved with the fraud (I was going to say allegations, but he got caught in 4k).

This also makes me laugh with regard to holding ENIC at their word. Crooked as the night is dark and nothing they say I'd take seriously.

What are the odds Levy coming back before end of season?!

Not for sale but if you put a lot of money down it is for sale.

I am never selling my house, not for money, love, I will die in this house, I will fight to the death for this house, unless you happen to have a million then bang its for sale.

That deadline is only a month away which is good stuff. Hopefully the inevitable sale is closer than many people think.
Saudi or Qatari would be my preference. But so long as they're fucking minted and prioritise sporting success I'll be delighted.

TBF, even if I didn't want to sell I'd want to see what offers were out there. Especially if I was planning to sell a minority share - gives you an independent valuation to base the share price negotiations on.

Sounds like more of the same with a different face to blame
I’m highly skeptical of any billionaires, not to mention a bunch of nepo babies, but I don’t need us to be the biggest spenders in the league as long as we’re acting smartly.

He mentioned selling players for instance which has been a real barrier to shaping our squad properly. It was definitely a message that we are not gonna be the pain in the ass we were under Levy.

Let’s see what you’ve got, Viv.

I also liked the way he flaunted the fact we're a massive football club with a massive, fuck off global fan base. So let's see him back those sentiments up in the upcoming transfer windows.
I'm fed up with our fans laughing off any suggestions of us signing elite players with the old "Why would he come here" bollocks .
Levy always gave off the vibes that we couldn't compete. Hopefully that loser mentality follows his arse out the door and gets booted up Tottenham High Road with him.
