Manager The Sack Race

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Looks like Ange can get a new gig. I wonder if he prefers a crazy Greek in England or Lederhosen in Germany?

Edit: The Leverkusen gig is already taken: Hjulmand

Nuno has no reason to consider moving outside EPL. Just had his most successful season to date, and got sacked due to reasons totally unrelated to on the pitch stuff. His reputation is totally unscathed at the moment, and might even get an additional boost if Forest fall on their faces after him.

As a general rule back to the basics managers who have proven themselves will always have a market in this league. Moyes is another example.

Definitely not, would be an unnecessary downgrade. He's already shown he has the steel to perform well at two PL clubs. He's established himself nicely and although not the best he could get, the Brentford job would suit him well.
Brendan Rodgers could have probably got work in the PL but chose Celtic. It's not that difficult to turn Rangers into winners, they got to the Europa Cup final 2022 IIRC, and even Gerrard won the domestic league with them in 2021.

Sure Nuno can probably get another job in one of the lower PL clubs, and spend his career like David Moyes, win a couple of Micky Mouse trophies in 25 years. One of his two was the Charity Shield when he took over United 10 months before he got bombed out.

I get the feeling that Nuno was too nice for Marinakis, too honest for Marinakis, too intelligent for Marinakis - so Ange should fit in very nicely.

...oh and he didn't do enough coughing.

Nuno will get offered the West Ham job guaranteed.
