Totally agree - took complete control after the shit disallowed goal and won the game easily.Best thing about today is how we reacted after a dodgy call. Historically our heads would have gone down and we just fucking give up and accept defeat but today was different. We got better after adversity which never happens.
Well done Frank.
To echo what you said, I recall that the Mayor's Office (BoJo) encouraged Spurs to bid to ensure that W Ham had competition. We were assured that we could demolish the Olympic stadium, and went ahead with our own plans – basically the NDP stadium transferred over, with provisions made for athletics elsewhere (in an upgrade of disused facilities in S London). I recall it all seemed quite back of the envelope. Nonetheless, our principle was hard and fast: the OS was entirely unsuitable for football. In the book "Destination Tottenham" Levy gives his account of the Stratford bid , we can believe it or not as we choose. He states that Spurs were invited and actively encouraged to make a bid for Stratford , he doesn't say who by. The deadline for the Olympic Stadium bid was the same day that Haringey Council Planning Committe were considering the Northumberland Park Development so he says the club needed a plan B in case NPD was rejected by the council so we put in the bid. Levy also states he was led to believe by politicians that we would be allowed to demolish the Olympic Stadium and build a bespoke football stadium, I did hear him say that on a Radio 5 programme in a discussion with Seb Coe when Coe said we wouldn't be able to do that as the stadium would be needed for some athletic events. Levy states that the Tottenham riots of 2011 was also a big influence in wanting to stay in Tottenham and not move out, a month after the riots Haringey Council passed the planning permission for the NPD project so Stratford was ditched, of course after the Archway Metals hold up the stadium plan was altered to include the sliding pitch and the iconic south stand.
So who was wearing the red lacy lingerie, stocking and suspenders then?
All fur coat and no knickers?

Anne Pikey-Pickston did you say? Lost my hearing aid again. Her name’s Ampika Pickston.
She’s a self confessed gold digger who used to be in The Real Housewives of Cheshire and was an exotic dancer.
She’s very much in a ‘relationship’ with Sullivan![]()
Whelk, that went down ike a lead balloon.
To be fair it wasn’t a pearl of a pun.
I wasn't referring to either you or John.Seriously though
I'd love to know who he is referring to
I never hide regardless of whether we win or lose , sure I may be a little more over the top when we lose , letting off steam as you say
But I don't disappear when we win , I also see you posting after wins too
Just chatting shite as usual
Bet she was careful crossing her legs……
I won't hear a word said against her. She cares for vulnerable children - I think...Bet she was careful crossing her legs……
……. in case she flashed her dick!
You're right , Spurs promised to rebuild the Crystal Palace athletics stadium if we got the Olympic Stadium, fortunately Stratford fell through, I can just imagine Boris saying "off course you can knock it down , no problem I'll get the legislation passed"To echo what you said, I recall that the Mayor's Office (BoJo) encouraged Spurs to bid to ensure that W Ham had competition. When W Ham won and our bid was scuppered, we took legal action – compensation for waste of time and money, but also to ensure that W Ham were bound into the structure of the athletics stadium, no significant alterations, which would only be for rent, etc. I believe there may have been more than one legal action in this respect.
In effect, Levy ensured that if our plans were rejected, then W Ham would be legally bound to inherit a stadium wholly unsuitable for football.
On his way to represent the Lollipop Guild.
Probably but needs to be said.
Fair enough , I apologise Bill
* We also offered to build an athletics track at White City?To echo what you said, I recall that the Mayor's Office (BoJo) encouraged Spurs to bid to ensure that W Ham had competition. VAR is not the issue, it's still the same problem in that it's run by inept and corrupt halfwits.Anyone with eyes can see VDV was himself pushed and wrestled. Even arch Gooner Alan Smith on Sky Comms couldn't see why it was disallowed.
Its as clear an example of "clear and obvious" error you'll see. If VAR is now being told to just side with refs calls then just abolish it. It's pointless.
VAR has been all over the place from day one, I genuinely can't see how it's improved the game or what it contributes.
Absolutely. If I were him I'd flat out refuse to pay any fine and demand that they explain just how stating the truth is disreputable, when the absolute cluster fuck officiating isn't?Should double down if he does. Stupid rule that you can’t criticise them.
I know I’m too old to be having lascivious thoughts, but good Lord, Natalie Dormer!
