And Rangers fans were quick to call for the Tottenham youngster to head back to north London as they took to X after the game.


One fan said: “One of the annoying things going under the radar is playing a Spurs kid ahead of our own youngsters. Mikey Moore is offering nothing. Needs sending back to Spurs and stick with Curtis.”


“Mikey Moore is an absolute enigma. Send him back to Spurs asap. Can’t hack Scottish football. Terrible,” claimed another.


Finally, another fan claimed: “We can’t be paying Mikey Moore that much, surely we can just put him into the B team until January when Spurs take him back.”

I doubt it, the manager will be sacked imminently and whoever comes in will focus on the players contracted to Rangers not developing one of our youngsters.

It was a strange club to send him to in the first place, I think we massively overestimated his current level. Physically he is far away from the required level to start matches in a men’s league. He looks like a child out there and probably would have been better served staying here until January, training and working in the gym with the odd appearance in a cup match.

Have to say I was not impressed when MM said more or less he was coming up to Rangers to entertain and show them how good he was.

Im sure Harry Kane said the same thing at MM age. He was speaking after the fact.

No 18 year old footballer is going to say ive come here to pay the mortgage.

MM does not have a money worry in the world. Chances are he never will have.
Harry Kane realised that if he did not pull his weight other players at his loan club would tell him about it.
They had mortgages and babies.
 
Still even if the loan doesn't work out still has plenty of time on his hand.
Probably would been better off going to westerlo etc.
 
Very bizarre. I thought he'd be electrifying for Rangers against those teams. From what I've seen he's a shadow of what we know he can do.

I'm thinking all the other Rangers players absolutely hate Russell Martin. I thought it was a bad idea when he started criticising the players two games into the season. Looks like the players thought it was a bad idea too.

Once Martin gets lynched ...er I mean sacked the new manager bounce will be unreal so hopefully we'll see the real Mikey at some point.
 
Diallo from Utd went missing while on loan at Rangers too but came back to Utd and done well enough to get a new contract and looked re energised.
Scottish football is more in your face defending with bit more aggression thrown in.
Rangers are a very poor imitation of the good teams of their past and wont be getting any better any time soon by looks.
Re young Mikey hes just got to get his head down and let his football do the talking.
Go back to the basics,great with the ball at feet but hes not blessed with pace to burn so his footballing brain has got to be two and three steps ahead of the game.
Making a yard or two before receiving on the half turn,one touch play and holding the ball up when needed with a defender up his klacker,backing himself 1v1 and having a dig.
Also not to be forgotten the hardest thing apart from scoring goals… working your socks off for the team without the ball .
Get in their Mikey Lad.
