Nah, pointless having opinions on a match thread.

I think Frank will start the same team he did yesterday, with Palhinha in for Bentancur. BHO is not an easy away win.

He’s got to rotate a bit though.

I thought Porro played some tired passes at the end of that Villarreal game. Poch used to rotate both FBs after a CL game.

You are probably right about the MF and Xavi staying LW. Frank is a measured, pragmatist and likely won’t move Xavi to 10 yet. I’d be more tempted to play him 10 vs Milner and Hinshelwood than Baleba..

I agree it’s just a run of tough games and Frank seems very conservative in his choices- I can see him doing this as much as he can to help try and ensure a good start. BHA are a good team and we can’t take them for granted.

Still got PTSD from the 2-goal collapse last season!!!!

It was a terrible collapse, but in that first half we absolutely blew them away, some amazing football and we should have scored more.

So it shows that they are vulnerable and if we go there with the right attitude we should get something from the game now that our defence is more solid and organised.

Tough game, Brighton move the ball well and we will have to really earn 3 points and only a good performance will be enough.

Id make changes, 3 or 4. Keep a core group and give others the chance to step in as were going to need everybody fit and ready when needed.

Porro-----Romero---Vdv------Udogie
----------Palhinha-----Bergvall--------
----Kudus------Simons------Odobert
-------------------Muani------------------

Earlier i had suggested gray in cm instead of bergvall and as much as id like to thats probably abit far fetched. Im just not a fan of xavi and spence as a combo on the left its not working for me.

If richy starts and we play a central midfielder at 10 and simons left i just wont be confident at all. We only win this by asking enough questions of Brighton and that means creating which we dont do enough with 3 cm's

Brighton should have most of the ball, which should suit us. Maybe leave Kudus out as he has played every game so far.,Palhinha starts. Full reserve team next Wed v Doncaster.

Replace Porro with Djed, and Give Porro a rest, then switch for the next game.

I would then be looking at resting Kudus the following game, thus having one experienced starter on the right over both games.

Looking ahead to the next few games, after Brighton. Doncaster, Wolves, Bodo/Glimt.
TTFE has a chance to rotate and refresh somewhat to put out a First XI away in Norway.

Hinshelwood is out. Damaged ligament pretty much straight from kick off v Bournemouth

Full reserve team is a recipe for disaster. Forest made 10 changes and lost. We have made as many and it never ends well. Play Kinsky & Davies, rest those that have played the most but still need some first teamers.
