Match Spurs v Brighton (Away) - Sat 20th September - KO: 3pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Indifferent start to the season for Brighton and I think it will continue with our visit. 0-2.

A little unrealistic but what I'd like to see tomorrow if we are in complete control is....

Kinsky.
Romero. Danso. VDV. (3)
Spence 60/Porro 30. Pally 60/Gray30. Sarr 45. Bergvall 45. Udogie. (4)
Xavi (1)
Kudus RMK (2)

It would be great to see another clean sheet and a couple of goals. 2 - 0 win to us would be amazing.

Probably unrealistic though. Hopefully we get a draw at least. Putting in a good performance is important.

Pick a 4-3-3 from....

Odobert, Tel, Richarlison, Xavi, Johnson, Kudus, Muani

Bentancur, Palhinha, Bergvall, Sarr, Gray

Spence, Danso, Davies, Porro, van de Ven, Romero, Udogie

Vicario, Kinsky, Austin

With a cup game a few days later, albeit against third tier, League One opposition

Xavi - Richarlison - Kudus

Bergvall - Palhinha - Bentancur

Udogie - van de Ven - Romero - Spence

Vicario

I thought a lot of potential progression just stopped with Bentancur, too much backward passing - it was becoming frustrating

And Im not suggesting he should be prime Pirlo or something, rather there were numerous times where a forward pass was on and he just turned and played it back...

I still think they’ll be challenging but I do agree with you. Liverpool obvious favourites but they might have some unhappy players. Salah might be a problem for them as he’s been covering cracks for a while now with goals but his overall performances have been terrible. My mate is a season ticket holder and can’t stand him!! Sounds like Salah is entering Sonny type form which we saw the last two years.
Woolwich look strong but they can’t bore their way to a title. I would say there is an opportunity for a dark horse normally but Newcastle and Villa are weaker and we are not there yet. There’s nobody else remotely close to getting close so I think top 4 must be our aim.

As you said previously going to places like Brighton shows you have the credentials to be in that top 4.
Tomorrow will tell us a lot
Don't disagree with any that...

Not many goals in this one, maybe a 0-0
I just think we could edge it especially now our set piece game has improved 100% under Frank
I think it has 0-0 or 0-1 written all over it... we are pretty toothless so expect Frank to play negatively which then becomes a game of whether we can hit them on the break or whether they can capitalise on an individual error.

Whilst others passed forward, straight to them. I cannot remember such a bad game for giving the ball away
