Liverpool have actually got two better strikers than Woolwich. Ekitike and Isak are miles better than Gyokores. He's a donkey.

That said, I do think Woolwich have the strongest squad in the league. The amount they have spent, Arteta absolutely has to win the PL or CL this season. Anything else would be a huge failure.

But that club and fanbase don't seem to care. As long as Arteta has them competing, they seem to be happy with him.

Honestly, they are such a weird club and I don't even say that because of the rivalry. The whole club is cringe, from their shit song, to Arteta and his antics, to their players. Just a really weird club.

Arteta is both their gift and their curse. He's done a very very good job to get them to where they are now from when they took over. Yes he's had backing but he's turned them into a really difficult to beat side.

That said, his cowardice is their downfall. City were their for the taking yesterday but he bottled it and played three DMs in midfield.

That's shocking stuff to do at home.

But yeah, going back to Liverpool. I feel their home advantage at Anfield, where is a far more intimidating place to play than the Emirates, plus Liverpool's knowhow and their better strikers, means I do think they will win it, early days still though.

I hope Woolwich continue to bottle it and their cycle comes and goes with them winning fuck all.

was following the match on BBC comments, that crowd was getting restless VERY early doors

Arteta is an abdolute head case of a control freak. Most people who have hair for instance don't convert it into a one inch deep carpet. This moron does. Can't have a hair out of place! oh no!!!

Hopefully he'll carry on with the handbrake full on. Eze must be doing his nut on the bench. But he was warned, silly boy.

They get an equaliser, at home, with a whole 5 minutes to go against a team that had gone all in on seeing out the game. And look at the celebrations
remember them at Cherries coming back from 0-3 to 3-3 with 2 mins to go. That twat of a frog (forget name) did a ridiculous celebration as if that point was going to secure them the title. I couldnt believe that he didn't race to the net, grab the ball and sprint back to the half way line. They absolutely needed all 3pts, but no, more important that I do my silly celeb

I've just had a quick look on Arsenalmania to see what their take is on Arteta and it surprised me. A lot of them are Arteta out. They think they will never win anything under him as he's too much of a coward. They say there are absolutely no excuses as they have what is universally regarded as the strongest squad in the league and they are already 5 points behind Liverpool due to Arteta's lack of bollocks.

Apparently their record with Merino and Rice starting in midfield is shit.

Yet Arteta still persists with it.

There is absolutely no doubt Arteta is too much of a defensive minded, cautious manager.

just suddenly remembered his transfer to Goons from Toffees. I'm pretty sure it happened after a catastrophic match at ManU when they got tanked 8-2 (?) My first thought was fuck, we needed that to happen after the transfer window shut. Sure enough, Whinger pressed the panic button and bought Tarteta pdq and the sod went and rescued their season after that.

Defensive mid who completely shored it up for them. No surprise him being safety first
