How much was the team that almost lost to Tamworth worth on Transfermarket?

We're in for a good season. Part of which is not making daft selection decisions that learn nothing from the past

If Xavi needs the minutes then I agree he is a good shout. As is Odobert. I'd far rather Muani plays to Tel tho. Tel obviously isn't in Frank's plans, and I very much doubt has a future at the club.
Needs a loan tbh. Are there any windows still open?

Frank has been using pretty much every player i picked other than Davies and kinksy.

Tel started vs west ham and Muani might not be fit

Its a good opportunity to get minutes in the legs of those who need it.

Exactly. Thank fuck many on here don't actually pick the team.

We would never again win a knock-out competition. And I'm not joking.
It's not just in England you get cup shocks it's because players & coaches don't approach the match like a league match , it happens elsewhere.

Apr 1, 2025 · Bayer Leverkusen fell to a sensational shock 2-1 defeat against third-tier side Arminia Bielefeld in the DFB-Pokal.

There’s no way Frank will do wholesale changes for this match. As he’s said, he’s trying to build connections on the pitch and this is a good chance to do it under less duress.

Nonsense?

Spence, Udogie, Gray, Sarr, Johnson, Simons, Odobert and Tel have all started premier league games for us this season under Frank. Thats 8

Danso is next man up at CB.

Its a strong enough team to beat Doncaster at home.

If they cant compete at Doncasters level then they can do one.
I've no idea when you were Ange-in until (or at all), but one of the themes we had at the back of end of last season could be summed up thus :

- we won't win the league, therefore who cares between 2nd and 17th?
- ergo sacrifice league position for cups

How do those people justify playing such a weakened side in one of the two cup competitions this season we have a realistic chance to win in?

Or perhaps they didn't really mean what they said last season?

Do they cling to the hope we will soon have a first team stocked full of academy graduates who "made it"?

I think we'll actually do far better in the league and CL than all the pundits and the keep-Ange gang on here thought when Frank was appointed. But we won't win either this season.

It makes no sense to take any risks with the line up for this game.

We have rotated and changed tactics in every game so far - anyone who thinks we won't do again against fucking Doncaster is insane.
Whoever needs mins gets them - whoever needs rest gets it, simple as that.

i lost all hope in Postecoglouon the away to Gala and Ipswich Game week.

And i dont believe in sacrificing one tournament over another.....you play to win at the end of the day but you need to rest certain players and rotation is needed.

That team has 8 Full Internationals in it and 8 have also started premier league games this season, there is also a responsibilty on the players to step up when required.

As much as i would like Kudus to start, this is one of the opportunities to rest him as its a weaker opposition.

I dont rate Johnson or Tel highly but they are part of the first team squad and should have it in them to compete against Doncaster.

I would understand the argument if were throwing the likes of Byfeild, Thompson and Barnett in to start who havent even made a senior appearance.

But in that team every single player has been playing mens football for atleast 3 seasons with the lowest standard being highee than Doncaster
