Match Spurs v Bodo/Glimt (A) - Champions League - Tues 30th Sept - KO: 8pm

Romero didn't travel. Other than that I pretty much agree with your team. I might protect Palinha a bit as he wasn't fully fit to start the season and has played a lot of games already.

Ah, yea, did not read about Romero yet. Then VDV instead of him of course.

Regarding Palhinha... we'll see. I like him lot more than Benta, but if he is in "red" (or even "orange'ish") zone, then sure, lets rest him and use Benta.

Of course you should with all the billions spent on your squad. Like most english clubs these days you appoint a new coach and throw him away when the players are fed up. Most managers are not allowed to work properly in the "Money League" that it has become. Today you will face a team with 9 norwegians (most likely) in the starting line up. They have worked over years and actually got into the biggest tournament. There are norwegians in the stands, and in the team. That is something to respect in my book. I wish football was like that in England still. But it is not. It's a disgrace what it has become.
Well said. And sadly very true.

Yeah but you guys still let that Dog Thing escape and get into McMurdo Station requiring a true hero in Kurt Russell to lay down his life to protect the world.

Stop digging around in thousand year old ice FFS 😡

Ps: good luck tonight 👍

They really struggled with us from set pieces last year so I'm fully expecting Frank to set us up to be pragmatic here and try and beat them from set pieces. An ugly away win is the plan I imagine so expect Simons to play wide left again. Cross the ball into Richarlison. Sarr probably comes into the midfield but hard to know who gets left out. I'm guessing it'll be as pragmatic as possible so probably Bergval who misses out with Sarr going into the 10.

This is definitely one of those who screams and shits themselves over the ‘Cartel 6’. As though the club didn’t “work over years” to even be at the point where some Bodo fan can pretend we’re the exact same as a City or Chelsea.

And also, ah yes, everyone in the stands at every Prem team is some foreigner. To think the only reason this post got a bit of love is because the guy claims to be a Bodo fan, if a Leeds fan ahead of this weekend, for example, said the same they’d be getting foul votes.

They're currently neck to neck in Norwegian League with a team that already lost in the qualifying round of the Conference League. That's how bad it is.

Anything other than a comfortable win would be totally unacceptable. Zero excuses.

My intention is NOT to offend anyone here. Norwegians fell in love with english football in 70s and beyond when NRK started to broadcast one game a week from England. It is all changed now in the top flight at least. I still get the "english atmosphere" when I watch lower league football. I feel the connection between fans, players and local community. I don't know why I started this discussion though. Probably to emphasize that what Bodø/Glimt has done with mainly norwegian players is quite remarkable. Enough of that!

Tottenham is a huge club in Norway as well. A club we have a lot of respect for. Some great norwegian legends have played for the club. Erik Thorstvedt contribute as an expert on the broadcast on TV. I am sure he roots for Tottenham tonight. At least on the inside.
