Anyone know who plays in Xavis position for the Dutch. , he’s been on the bench past few games ?

Xavi does not seem to have a clear cut position according to these stats - he's played RW and LW as much or more as he's played as a more central AM for Netherlands tracking his position from 2023 onwards in about 30 matches.

Massive game for Wales tonight. Very very tough but should be a cracking atmosphere at the cardiff city stadium.

Love that we do the anthem a capella there. I just think it works better. Finishing work earlier, down the pub for a few beers then off to the game, standing with the 'red wall' nutters.

When's the proper football back!!! I Can't take any more!!

I'm looking forward to tonight, mainly because I'm going and the atmosphere should be banging, but yeah I can't wait for Spurs games again.

We're going to lose a drab game 1-0 to Villa aren't we
I pay almost zero attention to Villa, but do they still play quite a high line under Emery? If so could be a game that suits us, as it's often the ones where teams just turn up and be solid that scupper us. However, there's always a chance that they turn up and have a go and that takes us by surprise, as with the Bournemouth match.

So in summary, who knows?

Van De Ven playing both games for the Netherlands at left back and not doing his hamstring is very promising. I know we need to be extra careful with him but promising signs that he's becoming more durable. I was a nervous wreck checking the Netherlands updates every 2 mins yesterday. When he got subbed off, I had to check around 10 live match reports to make sure it wasn't an injury! Thank God!

I still think there is a huge drop off from Romero and VDV down to Danso so our season really revolves around keeping our 2 centre backs fit! Danso doesn't start for Austria these days which shows you the level he's at.

I dunno what it is, we do 12 weeks in summer and I’m not a bother but the international breaks actually kill me, like it’s only 2 weeks? How does it feel so fckn long!
