You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Kane has nothing in his tool set that Gyokeres doesn’t. The only difference between them is Kane has more experience playing bigger teams and is slightly more consistent.

You want a centre back or a physical forward on the opposing centre backs.
De Ligt is always a threat aerially. Who was JP on that would have been a better match up?
It'd be a mismatch if he was there to challenge the ball and got outmuscled/bullied etc which would be understandable, he was nowhere to be seen ffs, last minute of the game.
I won't labour the point but when players of this level see significant minutes, success in this league can't be expected.

His play on the De Ligt goal is just shit, he starts off close to him but then just stares at the ball rather than follow him. It would be won thing if he was actually challenging him and lost the header but he was just ball-watching and let him go.
