To answer your question the 13th game was home to Fulham where we had 1.01 xG to Fulham's 1.57.

The 12th game this season will, of course, be away to Scum. I'd be thrilled but very surprised if this was to end with us outperforming Scum on most of the key metrics.

But the real reason I stopped at 12 weeks was because this was the City game where Vicario was injured which was of course the beginning of the end of our season because most of our starting back 5 were injured for the rest of the year.

PapaFeels thesis is that we were much better this time last year. This is undeniably statistically true. It also has a lot to do with the fact that most of Frank's starting front 4 have been injured all year. That is where the arguments should begin and end - not by this bizarre insistence that, somehow, having less shots and conceding more shots is not of relevance. That is laughable bullshit.

The real question is how will Frank get us performing when he has his best players available - like most of our team was more or else available for the first 12 weeks of last season. Idiots like Papa Feels won't give him this grace.
The fact we're so bad is that we play for corners and throws. We completely neglect the middle of the middle of the pitch when we play because the manager wants to play not to lose in every game.

We don't advance the ball. We plof it around our final third and opposition are triggering presses up high because of the gap between our back 6 and front 4.

It's ridiculously one dimensional, easy to play against, and teams have no problem dominating us, almost every single game. We're going through multiple halves of football without a shot on target, having absolutely no chances of note.

It's not sustainable at all. We don't create chances, we give up more chances than we create. We've been blessed out keeper is having a worldie and opposition players are making a mess of opportunities, but it's not going to last.

Results are secondary to all of this. Even if we had less points, but looked like we had any way of playing, then I wouldn't be concerned. But this is beyond concerning.

Basically we're shit, backed by metrics. Stats suggested we were going to crash and burn, which is what's happening. Being by far and away league leaders in XGA and XG wouldn't last forever.

The arguments for keeping Frank aren't based on any logic other than "he needs 60 windows". Often point to other managers initially struggling and turning it around, ignoring that there's a clear way of playing there, a bit of hope and results were unlucky. Besides, cherry picking managers is beyond stupid. Very few who start badly turn it around to go on and be leaders in their fields. Nothing has indicated that Frank would be.

Basically, the weirdo Frank cultists who think criticism of him is sacrilegious, insult everyone etc have no argument, apart from "NuAnCe".

I'm the obtuse one apparently, for calling it like it is.

But whatever, based on what we've seen so far, he'll be gone before too long.
I think we are in the same boat. Underwhelming appointment in the first place...

Undeniably easier on the eyes?

Most of the time we couldn't string more than two passes together and and couldn't defend at all. It was just chaos.

And this is why so many people claim you talk shit, and are.

No one is claiming that the football we are playing is always good.

Its been a mixture, of poor, meh, okay, and sometimes good.

So you're going around being smarmy and sarky at people, because you are making assumptions on things that were never said or implied.

This why I don't care for anything you have to say, as you yourself haven't got a fecking clue or understood a single thing people have been saying to you.

No one is happy with the way we are playing, unlike you though, most of us understand the reasons for this, and it's not something thing that is going to be fixes over night.

So I don't give a feck what you have to say.

Your lack of comprehension is God tier.

We will just have to wait until we start to address the problems in the squad and then see what's what.

And you have neen told this time and time again.

Just fuck off and support another team if you can't get this in to your head.

Not wanting to sack Frank straight away, doesn't mean we enjoy the football, it just means we understand the situation at the club and everything surrounding it.

Now fuck off you cesspit of an excuse forca human. I am not interested in anything have say.

Never will.
for someone who doesn't care what papa has to say, you don't half say a lot... ps... squad is not the problem and never will be.

Even if the new board are tempted to eventually dissociate themselves from Frank by associating him with Levy and the bygone era instead, it would still be wise for them to let Frank see the season through if you think about it. At the moment this team needs, with varying degrees of urgency:
  • Striker
  • Left winger
  • Left centre back
  • Left back
  • Central midfielder
Which is easier from the board's perspective: To try to address all these at once in January, a target quite unrealistic for any club really, or use Frank as a placeholder in this, dare I say, transition season before bringing in their man ?

It doesn't have to be as cynical as this, with them counting the days until they can get rid of him, but even if this was the case Frank would still be likely to finish this season.

If they actually fancy him then he will obviously get even more leeway.
We have 4 players who can play striker... 2/3 players who can play left wing... a centre back in Hamburg who can play left centre back... two players who can play left back and 5/6 central midfield players... why do we need so many new players? Also, spent over 100m on attacking players in the summer and loaned RKM + the best midfielder on the planet... maybe we need a coach who can get the best out of the squad... underwhelming appointment who will hopefully be gone by Xmas.

Frank gets the next two windows in my opinion.

Levy has left us in the shit.

He stripped out players good enough to challenge for top 4 and replaced every one of them with bang average punts and young players.

Reducing the wage bill was the priority.

If Frank is really shit we will know by the end of the season and can plan for the season ahead without him.

When you look back at previous Spurs managers AVB is the closest to Frank in terms of character.

That suggests to me Frank will be sacked at some point.

If a top manager was available Spurs should always consider these matters; no matter how long Frank has been in the job.

Frank should be under pressure and he should fear the sack.

THFC must win more games and trophies.

Accepting less has got us to where we are.
Conte might be available again soon... under new stewards he might be tempted...

I didn’t want Frank to be appointed Tottenham manager after Postecoglou.

This is not because I’m against Frank, it’s just that I simply did not (and still do not) know if he would be the right man to get more out of the sum of Tottenham’s parts.

I also didn’t know if Iraola, Glassner or any of the other names floated out there would be the right man.

I think our problems are deeper than just the manager… but that’s a different thread.

The latter two at least wouldn't have play not to lose every game.

I really like Hoeness at Stuttgart. Would be a perfect middle ground between Frank and Ange as there's definitely overlap between the two styles.

I still get the feeling Frank is just a placeholder until the return of the Poch next summer. Probably already agreed behind the scenes. (Hopefully 🤞)
How much he's backed or not backed in January will be a key indicator imv

Ohhhh my man, have to disagree there, hopefully not. But each to their own. Of Poch came back, I'd not be a fan of that at all, bit I feel like of anyone deserves time, it's him. So I'd be a quiet boy on the manager.
