I forgive you...
I was going to give you a like emoji for your first paragraph but a haha for the 2nd. I have given up hoping for a win at that ground and just hope we are still in it in the closing stages with no red cards or injuries. Not sure why this thread even exists. I think Frank is doing ok and things will get better as players come back from injury and players like Simons get used to the Premier League. We're 5th in the league and still very much in contention for the CL spots, we're making reasonable if not outstanding progress in the CL and we've still got the FA Cup to come.
His first NLD is on Sunday and we have every reason to hope for the win.
COYS
I think the debate started a while back but hey lets wait until we are dicked on Sunday before we debate it.I've been trying to avoid it myself. Makes a total of mockery of our fanbase. The week before a NLD and people want to start debating if we should sack the manager. Totally unnecessary
Can you summarise this post for me please?Haha always a delight! Last season we won the EL, spirits were high at the club over the summer, now it's in another horrible lull, and with what's being asked of the players, I get it.
I probably watched them once or twice when they were on the tv. How is your opinion more credible than mine, did you watch all of their games big man?
Obtuse, no, I give reasons why it's clearly not going to work, and despite your "stats stats stats" crap, stats tell the story of what happens on a football pitch, and ours makes for grim fucking reading. Obtuse is blindly defending that, with no logic other than "he had a difficult position when he came in", which is total bullshit. That's obtuse.
We also had a full first XI out for a large chunk of the season, a full defence missing nearly all of it. Yes tactics were shit, the manager had to go,but no one is winning games with Davies and Gray as CB's.
The only reason we're not in the same situation as last year right now, is sheer blind luck. We're by a country mile the biggest overachievers in the league at both ends of the pitch, way ahead. We're 18th in shots. We play one way, which is abysmal.
Oh, I get football. Most of this forum must be in denial, because it's frighteningly obvious this isn't working. Home fans aren't going to put up with paying the highest ticket prices, worst football and no results. Aside from our performances being unsustainable, which I said would happen, the fans will make it more so.
Are you going to be so chest out of we get embarrassed like we did against Chelsea at the weekend, or are your expectations so low now, that you don't mind taking a beating? If so, that's just sad.
For all the abuse I get, I've been saying the same thing for weeks, while you call me whatever you want, but I haven't been wrong, it's all coming to pass, because 1. I have eyes and 2. The stats say that we couldn't keep going like we were. We also had a very easy opening run, and, as soon as it got hard, wheels have come off, like I said would happen.
Instead of telling me how I don't understand, even though I've not been proven wrong on anything, why don't you explain to me how I'm wrong and know nothing? This will be a hilarious exercise. Why, with metrics backing my opinion up, is it any more outlandish than a manager being out of his element, than overnight we suddenly improve and start playing in a completely different manner? It's been long enough now that we know what he's about. He spent the guts of £200m and got two first team loan players in, that he wanted. And this is the absolute worst version of Spurs I've seen, probably ever.
The way some of you go on about a manager is so strange. You can rip on the board, players, fans, but anything gets mentioned about a coach and people lose their fucking minds. It's like a weird cult. They just pick the team and the tactics. They're not the whole club you melon.
We can win there. We've done it before and we'll do it again.I was going to give you a like emoji for your first paragraph but a haha for the 2nd. I have given up hoping for a win at that ground and just hope we are still in it in the closing stages with no red cards or injuries.
Perfectly valid to be discussing the managers position at any stage of his tenure. If anyone doesn’t want to do so, they aren’t being forced into this thread at gunpoint.
We had similar threads for previous managers and will for future ones too.
Frank should get the season, but he needs to show signs of improving both results and performances to not be out the door at season’s end.
Basically we're shit, backed by metrics. Stats suggested we were going to crash and burn, which is what's happening. Being by far and away league leaders in XGA and XG wouldn't last forever.
I told you I was done with you. Go away and bother someone else. Won't give you the satisfaction of even reading this, tiny.Undeniably easier on the eyes?
Most of the time we couldn't string more than two passes together and and couldn't defend at all. It was just chaos.
And this is why so many people claim you talk shit, and are.
No one is claiming that the football we are playing is always good.
Its been a mixture, of poor, meh, okay, and sometimes good.
So you're going around being smarmy and sarky at people, because you are making assumptions on things that were never said or implied.
This why I don't care for anything you have to say, as you yourself haven't got a fecking clue or understood a single thing people have been saying to you.
No one is happy with the way we are playing, unlike you though, most of us understand the reasons for this, and it's not something thing that is going to be fixes over night.
So I don't give a feck what you have to say.
Your lack of comprehension is God tier.
We will just have to wait until we start to address the problems in the squad and then see what's what.
And you have neen told this time and time again.
Just fuck off and support another team if you can't get this in to your head.
Not wanting to sack Frank straight away, doesn't mean we enjoy the football, it just means we understand the situation at the club and everything surrounding it.
Now fuck off you cesspit of an excuse forca human. I am not interested in anything have say.
Never will.
Yes... A sad indictment of how our club has been run into the ground these last few years.. I have given up hoping for a win at that ground and just hope we are still in it in the closing stages with no red cards or injuries.

This is what I've said before. The people that go and insult everyone for criticising the manager are the same that feel emboldened to hurl abuse at:Simons arrived later than Frank, and his thread already features enough number of extremely critical posts going as far as people suggesting that he could/should be dumped in January. A slight majority if not more were fed up with Tel as early as August after that PSG game, despite him arriving to a shambles of a team in the middle of last season. Just two examples off the top of my head to illustrate a more general point.
People keep disagreeing with each other in those threads, but as far as I can tell there are very few instances of trying to limit the discussion to certain suggestions while declaring others to be out of the question. I'm sure the tea lady would be discussed in the same open way if she had a thread of her own here. Because that's what common sense dictates really.
This doesn't apply to managers though, with people acting like the club with all it has is there to serve the manager and not the other way around. Without going into some armchair speculation regarding the potential psychological underpinnings of such a special treatment, I'll simply say that it is very weird.

The match I was talking about was New Year’s Day 2015 when Poch was in charge and we still had a small ground.Yes... A sad indictment of how our club has been run into the ground these last few years.
