Imagine he's still against the idea of shooting from outside the box... We couldn't even be getting one goal today from Richy. I don't know where he's gonna get us to score goals when we aren't even attacking. 4 touches in opposition box.. Fuck me.

No point sacking him. Give him till end of season and if he shows promise keep if not bin him for Poch or someone who can coach both defence and attack.

S’land scored 2. I reckon we’d lose to them as well. All those saying we were only 2 points off top a few weeks ago were blind to reality. We have been terrible for most of the season and are slipping down. I like Savva but he hung his hat on us being so close to top, still in LC and unbeaten in CL. All that is going down the pan and looks so foolish after only a few games.

I suspect the plan was to go in halftime 0-0 and then open up in the 2nd half with offensive substitutions.

This is actually true......he gave an interview for Sky last season and said this

I wouldn't be bothered if he wasn't our manager next week. But think we might as well stick until at least the end of the season. The squad just isnt good enough so it will be largely the same whoever his replacement was. All the genuinely top managers that could actually make some sort of difference are already at top clubs.

Actually- there is some benefit in getting rid of Thomas now- we might actually get a manager in who won't throw away Bergvall, Sarr or Gray's whole season sitting on the bench while merely playing for draws. We're not competing for anything serious this season- at least commit to developing the future.

To go with the many shite performances so far. Has there been one game bar city where have played well, dominated and scored a few goals playing good football.
 
Frank just said it's worth remembering we finished 17th last season. Does he really think its ok to finish 13th/14th... for that alone he needs to be sacked.

Yeah they were pretty direct and played a lot of percentage football. Bournemouth and Brighton played much better football In that area of the table imo especially Bournemouth who play some really good football. Watched them away at Newcastle and they tore them apart.

Lange is probably the reason Frank got the job imo. Vinai isn’t a football man. Lange got in a mate he’s comfortable working with.
