Frank just said it's worth remembering we finished 17th last season. Does he really think its ok to finish 13th/14th... for that alone he needs to be sacked.
I was surprised we got that many. This performance coming so soon after Chelsea is a really really worrying thing.
Yeah, I can’t find exact numbers but an AI search says they played the 4th most long balls last season and were one of the most accurate with those long balls (Mbuemo). Can I ask how much of Brentford you watched, like full games?
Tbh the two games against us they were quite poor and their football was was not the type you want to be watching long term
To be fair to TF he is working with some dross , there are players that have been bought with an eye to a profit (Levy) who simply aren't good enough and IMO never will be .
If we want to truly compete we need to start bringing in players that are game ready , i.e. Maddison , Kudus .
Otherwise we will perpetually be what we are .
This is all on Enic to fix if they have the will and intent , January will tell us .
A striker and LW is bare minimum .
Agree, tough I think Solanke was very good last season. Unfortunately the way we played didn't favour the striker to score lots of goals, but he was always present, doing a lot of things non stop during the matches and even his numbers aren't that bad if you look at it.I was one who thought Conte was a breath a fresh air, with his tirade about the club. But it eventually collapsed and I agree, he was never a long term fix.
Re: Omitting Palhinha and Kudus. Well, we haven’t bought Palhinha yet and to rope Kudus in, it hasn’t been long enough for me to judge those signings/loans as a hit or miss on PL proven. So far, I do agree they’ve been some of our better performers. However, Bissouma looked great in small spurts and has been a bust overall. Same with the others I mentioned aside from Maddison.
Yeah, and our defense was a lot weaker that time, didn't favour any of Mourinho or Conte, but they got better results overall than Ange or Frank.Mourinho played to our strength with counter attacking football at its best, knowing he had Kane and Son and then Bale, despite being boring. Given more transfer windows, I would trust him more than Frank ever would to get us players to play title-winning games.
Should be sacked on the spot for starting Richarlison in a north london derby
We need a midfielder that can play football more than anything I think. Our squad has gotten filled with such shite over the past 3/4. years
Kudus over who?
People need to start realising that he's really not that good.
Nuno is ten times the manager.First manager making me check out at this point nuno was the last
The way we set up today made it very hard , Kudus looked like he was playing in the middle which made it easier for Arse as they didn't have to worry about his wide threat , and he didn't look comfortable in the middle .We need a midfielder that can play football more than anything I think. Our squad has gotten filled with such shite over the past 3/4. years
Sometimes it only needs a couple of touches in the box to do the trick.
Change your f**king avatar!I don’t like Frank’s football. It’s stale and ineffective. He set us up to draw and we still ended up conceding 4.
That’s the biggest concern for me. The fact that he can’t even execute that game plan with players like Romero/VDV/Bentancur/Paulinha in the side.
We sacrifice creativity for solidity and concede 4 fucking goals.
A separate issue is that any manager that has to start Richarlison and Odobert is fucked before the game even starts.
An undercooked squad is the fault of the owners. Poor coaching and tactics is the fault of the manager. Lack of heart, effort and energy is the fault of the players. Across the board, we’re atrocious.
I really don’t think we could sustain his style of football and juggle European football too.you might be right, but we've been at our best with a Jol , Poch, Redknapp

Iraola type fits, young progressive and most importantly attacking *while being tactically aware
