Match PSG v Tottenham Hotspur Wednesday 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm hoping we see at least 8 long throws. 6 free kicks by Vicario from half way line and 20 long balls for Richarlison to do some serious damage with....buzzing for this lads.

Really wondering if I should waste my evening with watching something that's just gonna make me angry.

Also why would Frank keep solanke in the squad in place of Tel?
Tel must be absolutely pissed at him

If Frank has anything about him then he plays a defensive team tonight (against all the current scrutiny) but then lines up an attacking team against Fulham and really goes for the win on Saturday.

Anything else and he's out of his depth. If he goes for an attacking line up tonight then he's clearly bottled the job and can't handle the pressures of managing a big club. If he goes defensive against Fulham at home then he's clearly unable to adapt an attacking game and is simply not the right manager to bring us forward.

Nobody is expecting us to win tonight. Do your defensive formation and keep it respectable. Fulham at home on Saturday is your big test where we need to see some attacking play!

Unless the medical team have been lying to Frank and telling him that Dom would be fit before now so no need to replace him?

Hmmmmm....

I don't think Solanke's absence is on Frank and I doubt Tel would have made an appreciable difference, but he would have provided a different option, and gained CL experience.

My bigger concern is that it's indicative of a club ineptitude, and for a functionsk manager like Frank, it's a surprise, but not something that we should see beung repeated.

As for today, free hit.

Then we move to the start of the reboot, or else Frank will see pressure, regardless of Amorim's continued struggles.

After that 5-2-3 debacle against Woolwich, he'll most likely revert to a back 4 even though the debacle had a lot more to do with the extremely negative manner he utilized the shape rather than the shape itself.

We're huge underdogs no matter what; but If he were to go with a back 3 slash 5 and got eaten alive for the second time in 3 days, he would hand the fans and the press a huge stick to beat with him for the rest of his tenure here.

Expecting a traditional 4-2-3-1 that becomes a 4-5-1 or even a 4-6-0 out of possession, with lots of sitting back and dark arts of course. As long as we're not leaving huge spaces between the lines despite sitting with 10 men, like how it was in the Woolwich debacle, I wouldn't be too upset with the outcome.

Frank has really backed himself into a corner now. Sarr and Bergvall will be expecting to start tonight, so will simons! But ideally Frank woould prob prefer to do the back 5 again with Bentancur and Palhinha. I'd say he's really struggling to pick today's team. I think he might drop Danso and Bentancur for Sarr and Bergvall. Maybe start Simons off the left ahead of Odobert.

He's got a free shot tonight. Play defensive and damage limitation. It should suit his defensive style. His big test is fulham on Saturday and getting an attacking line up on the pitch!

We played defensive at the Emirates and got our arsed handed to us lol don't really want to see that again.

We'll get smashed either way but can we just have a plan going forward and some fight from the team? I don't think that's too much to ask for.

That’s how I feel but I know I will watch it and I will be angry. He obviously doesn’t rate Tel. Came on against Utd and scored and then doesn’t get on against Woolwich. He’s not involved tonight too.

I mean why sign him? Other than benefitting Bayern, who have managed to offload a player they didn’t want to offset their payments for Kane. Great business. 😅

I get the frustration and I can't wait to see us actually have a go again. But Frank's best attribute as a manager is that he's tactically adaptable. If he's totally bottled that aspect now under the current scrutiny then I'd be worried that he's totally out of his depth. Does he now just line up an attacking team every week to try and win the fans over? If thats the case then we should have just gone with a more attacking manager in the first place!

If this is going to work then Frank needs to have some faith in his game and show some bite. I'd like him to set us up defensively tonight and show that it can work. BUT then he needs to roll out an attacking team at home to Fulham on Saturday. No more haram football at home this season!

Thats how I see it but appreciate that everyone is so frustrated at the current situation
