I had a dream / nightmare last night that I managed to get into the stadium at half time, and it was already 6-0 ....... I woke up then so don't know how it finished.Woolwich put 4 past us without getting out of second gear.
PSG are much better than Woolwich.
Do the maths.

I learnt something useful last week; never sleep the night before an important match.I had a dream / nightmare last night that I managed to get into the stadium at half time, and it was already 6-0 ....... I woke up then so don't know how it finished.

Unless the medical team have been lying to Frank and telling him that Dom would be fit before now so no need to replace him?Really wondering if I should waste my evening with watching something that's just gonna make me angry.
Also why would Frank keep solanke on the squad in place of Tel?
Tel must be absolutely pissed at him

It's a heart warmer for sureLots of Christmas cheer around this morning….well it is the season of goodwill to all men.![]()

Frank has really backed himself into a corner now. Sarr and Bergvall will be expecting to start tonight, so will simons! But ideally Frank woould prob prefer to do the back 5 again with Bentancur and Palhinha. I'd say he's really struggling to pick today's team. I think he might drop Danso and Bentancur for Sarr and Bergvall. Maybe start Simons off the left ahead of Odobert. After that 5-2-3 debacle against Woolwich, he'll most likely revert to a back 4 even though the debacle had a lot more to do with the extremely negative manner he utilized the shape rather than the shape itself.
We're huge underdogs no matter what; but If he were to go with a back 3 slash 5 and got eaten alive for the second time in 3 days, he would hand the fans and the press a huge stick to beat with him for the rest of his tenure here.
Expecting a traditional 4-2-3-1 that becomes a 4-5-1 or even a 4-6-0 out of possession, with lots of sitting back and dark arts of course. As long as we're not leaving huge spaces between the lines despite sitting with 10 men, like how it was in the Woolwich debacle, I wouldn't be too upset with the outcome.
You’ll not be watching the game then. Maybe that’s a good thing

He's got a free shot tonight. Play defensive and damage limitation. It should suit his defensive style. His big test is fulham on Saturday and getting an attacking line up on the pitch!
That’s how I feel but I know I will watch it and I will be angry. He obviously doesn’t rate Tel. Came on against Utd and scored and then doesn’t get on against Woolwich. He’s not involved tonight too.Really wondering if I should waste my evening with watching something that's just gonna make me angry.

I mean why sign him? Other than benefitting Bayern, who have managed to offload a player they didn’t want to offset their payments for Kane. Great business. That’s how I feel but I know I will watch it and I will be angry. He obviously doesn’t rate Tel. Came on against Utd and scored and then doesn’t get on against Woolwich. I get the frustration and I can't wait to see us actually have a go again. But Frank's best attribute as a manager is that he's tactically adaptable. If he's totally bottled that aspect now under the current scrutiny then I'd be worried that he's totally out of his depth. Does he now just line up an attacking team every week to try and win the fans over? If thats the case then we should have just gone with a more attacking manager in the first place! We played defensive at the Emirates and got our arsed handed to us lol don't really want to see that again.
We'll get smashed either way but can we just have a plan going forward and some fight from the team? I don't think that's too much to ask for.
