Yea, Vuskovic is wanted by everyone but we have him on a long contract.
His recovery pace and last ditch sliding in fools people into thinking he’s one of the best. He’s not a great reader of the game, not a great pure defender either and inconsistent with his passing. Just showy stuff. In a top team he’d be useful but put him under pressure and he’s rash in everything he does.
He should be much better in the air- get done too much for a man his size.
I watch them often- I think they'd love to be able to use him LB over Carreras in big matches. RM buying anybody at any time for any price is always a possibility. We'll see...
Yeah to be honest there is not a single player here I'd be gutted to see go. However there will be no suitors for any of them and none of this lot are leaving the cushy country club life. We are stuck with this lot.
He is extremely fast, nigh unstoppable when he gets momentum on the ball and has a very good strike on him for a CB. A very glamorous player which is why the fans love him. He’s a Vertonghen with pace but nowhere near the defensive brain or passing range.
Hard to dig in to him because he’s so obviously not the problem and he’s one of only a few in the squad who would walk in to a top team if we tried to sell. But equally he very regularly has games where he fails to do the defensive basics. I’m not sure how much this has improved since being here.
Does genuinely feel that with his skill set we’d be better off putting him at LB, getting Spence at RB (Porro has fallen off a cliff) and playing Romero & Vuskovic when back. A lot of what he does really well isn’t CB stuff.

I do however think a change of manager changes so many things
If anythjng we have 3 or 4 players who really believe in their own hype far too much.
That's why we may need a manager who will give it to them straight, and who won't stand for the kind of rubbish we saw yesterday.
