People are quick to shit on him but if he had proper game time to get rhythm we be way harder to beat. Id play Romero right center back, Danso leftcenterback, and VDV at Leftback Spence rightback, get Hackney deep lying playmaker. Ederson next to him and do it from January. Then in the summer go after Oshimen.
Agree. Udogie is horrible, and Danso looks solid next to Romero. Definitely have to give a try with VdV on the left
We would be stronger with that defensive set up. However, people would still complain that is not attacking enough despite defending is obviously their first job.

We would be better with Danso at centerback and Romero are DM. Only Romero line breaking passes have him over Danso. With a run of games I bet we'd lose.

The bloke never gets a run of games to be fairly judged. Romero isn't doing the basics most of the time. If Danso got six games to get his grove abd understanding with VDV I seriously think we would be a harder side to beat.
