If Semenyo goes to City that's good for us for 2 reasons:
1) Strengthens them just at the right time! (To be fair, we'd only waste him this season!)

2) if it frees up one of Marmoush or Savinoho, who, right now, I wouldn't sniff at either!

Yes they're City 'cast offs' but who are we to turn our noses up at that kind of quality?

We're no ones first choice right now, so get the players we CAN get, and who CAN improve us, and push on for next season, when the Summer might see a very different landscape!

You know Savinho is literally a nothing player right?

I think the strikers will do until the summer. Equally don’t need a CB - even if drag leaves.

The other 3 positions are essential tbh

A left winger, a creative CM and a left back

Apparently Bayern have offered us Goretzka.

He’d be a good rotation player, but a) he’d be on mental wages and b) he’s apparently not the player he was. I’d take him, though, as long as he’s not given a long contract and his wages are around 175k. He currently earns 250k though…
Haven't they dumped enough of their trash on us in recent times?

Get Samu in and sell Tel. Job done. Muani hasn’t done enough.

Aghehowa’s clearly the striker we’re after, there’s been too much smoke regarding him over the past couple months for their not to be some fire behind it.

I do think he still looks very raw, his touch is very ropey, but there are attributes there that you can see why we’re after him, he’s big, quick, powerful, and he knows where the goal is, you can work with that. I don’t think he’s worth £70m but the market’s that fucked now that maybe that’s just the going rate for a striker with promise but that still needs polishing up.

There’s not really anyone else out there I can think of that’s realistic, and Harry doesn’t look like he’s pining to come home anytime soon, so if it means I don’t have to claw my eyes out watching Richarlison every week then I’m fine with it.

You’ve just described Darwin Nunez 2.0.
Be careful what you wish for.

It should be 2x CMs who can actually pass the ball and break the lines and definitely a LB. But spurs gonna spurs and prioritize a LW.

Only buy top quality players.

Two of them if we don't sell anyone; three of them if we do.

A goalkeeper, a left back and a central midfield kingpin.

Eliot Anderson would be my pick.

This is the problem. We are nobodies first choice anymore. We used to be under Poch.

No we are looking at big club cast offs and up and commers.

Goretzka'sv Savinhos, Marmoushes is going to be our feeding ground.

We got Alderweireld after a fail at Atletico. We need people like that rather than expensive duds that burden the wage bills and wont leave.

Im not sure if any of the first 3 are worth buying.

Agree, but I'm not saying that's a situation I want us to be in, it's just that right now, that's where we are....

This supposed £100m ENIC money has to go somewhere, and it's not going on Semenyo, so we have to get a little more creative...

Savinho or Marmoush (like Jesus at the Arse) would certainly add SOMETHING to our squad, and are both upgrades on Johnson and Richie if you're looking at individual positional strengthening...

A attacking choice of Tel, Odobert,Muani, Kudus, Savinho/Marmoush, Solanke and Kulu (when they finally return) has a decent look about it, without TOO many additions, surely?

Yeah the links have been going on a good 6 months. Even from some pretty shit sources along the way they haven’t died off. Only seen him a couple of times but he looks a handful.

As if there are some on here asking us to go spend 80+ mil on that Diomande kid.

19yo, a gigantic 26 pro games to his name.

Oooooh but he's super fast, can do tricks and scored 6 Bundesliga goals for RB.
