Frank should be fired for letting them beat us. They are still bang in the relegation mix. Id dearly love them to go down and get Anderson. Even though looking at Kone and Locatelli and few other midfielders we should be aiming even higher.
They beat Liverpool 0-3.

And Liverpool were at home.

After spending a fortune.

After winning the title.

We all need to calm down just a little imvho.

Why do people always do this. These games mean nothing in regard to each other they have had the double done over them by Everton. But they beat Liverpool so what dont mention it.? We were so bad against Forest it was shameful. We absolutely shouldn't be calm about how poor our floor has been under this coach or the last one. Let Liverpool do Liverpool they aren't concerned about us.

So were Liverpool.

Utter shambles.

You haven't made a clear case as to why this isn't relevant.

Why shouldn't slot have been immediately sacked for his atrocious performance (AT HOME) to forest, with the squad/the players he had on the pitch and the the window he had, in his second season (as title winners with a mature team)?

But Frank needs to be immediately sacked at the beginning of a transitional phase, with a disjointed team he's picked up that's been deeply conditioned to accept losing games (which you understand and have yourself admitted) and all the other issues he's had to deal with in attempting to create cohesion and consistency with that team in a short period of time (injuries, chemistry, mid/unbalanced squad not good at retaining the ball).

Not defending the performance per se, but your prescription for that result is patently absurd.

You can't make such a wild point and expect to be left to enjoy it in isolation without other legitimate comparisons being made to challenge your reasoning/position.

And we absolutely need to reduce the rampant daily hysteria about absolutely everything, all the time, with this manager, until he's had this window and the players back from injury and a proper chance to to undo some knots and iron out some wrinkles and see if he can gradually work in a framework and foundation that will benefit us whether he's here in the long run or not.

If he can't, then he absolutely has to go.

If, when he's had 2/3 more players to his personal taste and Solanke and Deki back, we're still not fluid and more dynamic come the end of the season, then he'll be gone.

At some point we are going to have to go through some pain and some rough periods to get through all the damage to the squad that has been done by Baldcunt and ingrained bad habits from the last manager.

There is going to have to be a period where a manager rebuilds a balanced, stable framework for us to go forward.

It will take time whoever it is.

This squad needs serious surgery.

There are some deeply ingrained issues that need to be slowly weaned out of the squad's collective psyche.

It will take TIME.

I'm not wedded to Frank.

If he can't get it together with the elements I've noted above, he can do one.

But at some fucking point we are going to accept that there are serious problems that will take time to fix to bring consistency of performance at a high level.

Frank is prem proven in developing and maintaining a fully organised, robust, competitive squad.

For me, he's a good fit for where we are, to slowly rebuild a solid base and rid us of bad habits, that will see us good going forward, whether he makes it here or not.

I'm not saying we will win anything this season, but there's a chance we would have not won anything last season if we we were trigger happy.
Equally, if we remove a manager this soon into a role, it would damage our credibility in the next set of candidates.

Worst of all, it would probably piss off players who have already commented about how many managers they have worked under in a short amount of time here

Well at least we're not the only complete shambles at the bottom of the table.

They've got City and Liverpool in their next 4, and still have to play United, Sunderland and Chelsea away. Plus Newcastle, Villa, Fulham and Bournemouth who won't be easy. The only 'easy-ish' games they have left are Burnley, Brighton (who are drifting badly) and us away which is the easiest fixture in the league.

Starting to feel like we've got a better chance of coming above Forest than West Ham the way things are going and with their European distractions. Maybe even Brighton as they look a bit of a mess.

Well there goes Dyche - Manager number 4 of the season incoming.

Wonder who the hell they go for now?! Dyche was doing a bad job but I felt he'd probably limp them over the line to survival like he did with Everton (better chance than Frank at least).

Gotta pray they get another completely misjudged appointment like Ange.
