Huddlestone was so bad he was first choice DM in a season we cracked top 4 for the first time.
His issues were exaggerated. He was positionally sound and was brilliant off both feet
Huddlestone& Modric in a midfield 2. No need for a Palhinha in sight.
Huddlestone was one of those players only rated by Spurs fans ( Gray may be one).
He was so brilliant off both feet - he managed to get virtually no goals or assists in about 10 seasons.
His shots goals ratio was terrible.
Huddelstone struck the ball cleanly - but he was like a wayward golfer. No direction or weight of pass.
He ended up in the Championship - which was his true level
