I think if Lampard, who whatever anyone accepts was a top drawer player, and I think is a good coach, and topping the division below, reckons Yang can help his side, that's a sign thst maybe Yang can offer us sonething, as and when.

I don't know, feel that manager there just doesn't really have a clue and probably prefers more of a clogger to help out at the back and clear long balls than the type Yang is.

Only 1 win in their last 5. The way things are going they'll find themselves in a battle to hang onto automatic promotion.
They obviously thought they needed more attacking edge
Good move all round, better to compete up the top in an attacking side than fight in the mud and experience losing every week in a negative team for his development

As in why would City not just sell him? I suppose they might consider it a good opportunity for him to play in front of a batshit group of players to improve his game. Currently he's doing the square root of sod all. But I think Guardiola recently said he wasn't up for sale?
