I see we're already at that stage where anything the manager says, no matter how inoffensive, uncontroversial and/or just plain true attracts pile ons from large sections of the fanbase.
Not great.
And then Spam at home after a full week's rest. We need to destroy them and help send them down, not go for a 0-0 and end up losing.

I'd prefer to go into that with Frank at the helm rather than a caretaker.
Has everyone forgotten the Stellini/Mason time. Literally the most miserable period at Spurs in living memory.
Hmm, I have nothing to say. Your arguments have so many assumptions when many facts are out there that when crossed referenced will make your points invalid. Not about winning the title, but he just "didn't understand" the rivalry, and was quite insulting in his appraisal of spurs fans cheering the concept of Woolwich not winning the title. It was under the guise of "I just want to win every game"
Next thing you know, he's claiming to be not bothered about winning league games to he can try to reach a cup final.
It was a contradiction then and is now. You either understand why winning one league is not important in the bigger picture, or you don't. Can't have the cake and eat it with that. Meanwhile, the whole thing was about a 'winning mindset', but what we turned into was a team that was basically told it is ok to lose over 20 league games per season.
What people are interpreting as some amazing mindset is and was just bullshitting the fans. We normalised to losing so much during that period that people are voting that they'd have the same guy back again, losing more than every other game, and not seeing it as an outrage.
I meant it would be crazy money to purchase a team like that next season if Pochettino became manager.Or intelligent recruitment.
Jan, Lloris, Toby, Rose, Walker, Dembele, Dele, Eriksen weren't mega money. Kane was a kid. Pretty sure at that time the most expensive one of the lot was probably Son ?
Not the most we'd paid, but the most expensive player playing in the starting 11 most weeks.
That lasted for two months.
The Ange / Frank overlap has lasted 18 months.
I mean if we had a young, progressive, high press, high tempo Manager lined up to take over - sure. But even then that guy is gonna be stuck with Bents and Pal in CM...
I just don't see any good options - other than buying someone with genuine quality and leadership in CM right NOW.

Yeah I didn't like what he said about the gooners, but I ignored it, thought maybe he is just like that , wants to win every game, fair enough....Not about winning the title, but he just "didn't understand" the rivalry, and was quite insulting in his appraisal of spurs fans cheering the concept of Woolwich not winning the title. Spurs should only be buying from the top drawer going forward.
Every player we buy should be better than the best player we currently have in that position.
We are so shit this shouldn't be that hard to do.
Buy better players; sell the shit players.
I'm not even convinced Poch is the type of coach that can manage a ready made team. Or a team full of ready made players.I meant it would be crazy money to purchase a team like that next season if Pochettino became manager.
