You’ve just described our January window when we got Kulu/ Bents or last year (was it Danso,Kinsky — can’t remember) or Bergvall or Bergwijn or Radusin or Porro or just about every January window I can remember outside of Harry’s first.Nothing much is going to happen this window...I think we all know that..maybe a couple of cheap PL virgins but no one to make a real difference...
Yeah I read that, if they meet the fee and what not, but I think they'll be looking at replacements now and getting one over the line will be important.Glasner said in the press today they will sell Guehi in Jan. If Man City come in with some cash (bearing in mind their injuries) he will go.

Does Souza carry the ball forward for 20-30 metres only to stop and then pass backwards, eliminating the progression forward that he made? If not, he is nothing like Spence. From what i have watched (on YouTube) he appears to be similar to Spence, tricky, has pace, covers a lot of ground and a good passer of the ball.
But he is younger, plays in a league not renowned for it's intensity, and would need to adapt. At just twelve odd million a risk worth taking, put him on loan for the rest of the season and then introduce him to FrankBall.
I agree he isn't what we used to, but he's a whole.lot better than the likes of Bentancur. I have him and Porro replaced first.Richy rarely wins a header when we go long to him. Yes he runs all day, but he isn’t particularly fast so he can close players but doesn’t have the pace that frightens defenders.
The man either does not understand or completely refuses to comply with the offside rule.
His passing is epically shit, yesterday he had a relatively simple ball to square to RKM and instead hit the defenders ankle.
Finally, his finishing is patchy, admittedly we were spoiled with Kane and Son but Richy is a 10 Prem goals a season man and that’s not good enough.
100%If we were buying players to suit Frank’s system, I literally have no idea what that would be. Not joking.
For all his flaws, we knew what Ange was trying to do. Inverted fullbacks, a high line, press to win the ball high up the pitch to create opportunities, low driven crosses to be met at the back post. Granted, much of that fell away with injuries and other issues. But that was his theory of football.
After watching Frank for months, I have no idea what we are trying to do. Bypassing midfield, winning 2nd balls, break? Got nothing else.
So how do you buy to support that?
Goes back to needing a semi-consistent approach to our football that transfers can build to over successive windows. We are scattershot, thus ineffective.
There would have been some solid links by now if we were actually going to do something this window.
I predict 1 or 2 desperate loans around Jan 30th as a best case scenario.
We wish. Instead when we spend money its for mostly below to average players
