He's clearly been mugged off with the cup thing - some Bournemouth intern having a laugh handed it to him no doubt. As if a Spurs manager under pressure would purposefully drink of an Woolwich cup when there are cameras everywhere.

Anyone who thinks he did that on purpose to mug off the fans has truly lost their marbles. Frank's shit but he's not gonna self-sabotage like that.
This place has been a proper laugh today. It's one of the small consolations of all this.

Not really. It's listed as a 'private limited company' separate from the football club.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR STADIUM LIMITED overview - Find and update company information - GOV.UK

There's actually no legal foundation to stop the football club being sold separately.
Sure, but it’s our stadium in reality and we generate revenue from it whereas Spam play in a rented athletics bowl with sight lines the Hubble telescope would struggle with.

We’re bad but will never be West Ham bad, and in these trying times I can atleast cling to that

Who knows if there is any truth in an emergency board meeting, but good God I hope there is. He just has to go, if not for the results and style of play but for the sake of our players. Ok most ain't angels, but we all know Romero is better than the current version, Bergvail is going backwards at a rapid rate under him and now we have players picking rows with fans, undoubtedly borne out of frustration, be that due to results or the negative style of play.
I firmly believe he would be gone by now if there was a viable option out there, but we all know there is a serious shortage of available quality managers and even if we find one we are a rudderless ship under this post Levy regime. What manager in their right mind would want the job, behind the scenes appears to be an absolute shambles, the team is grossly underperforming and the only thing we can offer is money, so we will likely have to overpay should we find someone crazy enough to take the job.

You mention players getting worse and going backwards. I never thought that was a thing until this season. I know there are ups and downs in form, but every single one of our players are playing worse than they have before. This isn’t a form thing now. This seems to have permanence. It’s fucking terrifying how bad they are.

Could we even sell more than one or two of them right now? Market values of each of them must be plummeting, as is the positions of their potential destinations.

The wording of it is that the board are "content" (?) with him. Seeing what he wants going forward. Which is fucking wild to me.

Sack him and his buddy Lange, get a caretaker in and start seriously planning for next season. Get a manager in place for the summer and start working on targets now. Let the new guy go into it with a chance. But, that'd make sense, so scrap that.

Surely he goes after the Villa game (which we will lose)

The atmosphere around the club is absolutely toxic and the most damming thing is the complete apathy in the fan base! Just seems so pointless keeping him until end of season.

Give the job to Defoe or even harry redknapp until the summer

It’s been almost nothing but dire football since the end of Ange’s new manager bounce.

That’s two years, with only one momentary prick of light.

And honestly aside from a period where it looked like Conte was going to turn water into wine, it’s been much longer than two years.

It’s the players.

We have perhaps two players who should be nailed on starters in the PL. Everyone else is anonymous or a negative.

The entire club needs rebuilding. We the support need to have the stomach for a multi year project. There is no quick fix here nor any other path forward.

If you don’t think Frank is the man to lead it that’s fine, but whomever replaces him will have to lead it and that man won’t be someone who can get a top job today because a man like that will take one where he can win things quickly, and not have to start from the ground up.

Or in this case, start from a smoldering crater.

Almost the entire squad are international players at senior level, and the 5th highest value club in the Premier League, and 9th most valuable squad in the WORLD.

They absolutely should not be dropping points, home or away to the likes of Bournemouth and Brentford.

If you can't get a tune out of - Vic, Romero, VDV, Porro, Spence, Palhinha, Bentancur, Simmons, Kolo Muani, Richarlison, Kudus then it seriously is down to the club and coaching staff 100%. The Spurs bench and youth players are also far better than pretty much all of our rivals - Tel, Grey, Bergvall, Davies, Dragusin, Danso, Odobert.

No Excuses. Either the coach is utter crap, or the club has issues behind the scenes that are affecting form.

The last 5 coaches have said the same thing - the club isn't set up for success. If you can't win a trophy over multiple seasons with prime Kane, Son, Eriksen, Dele, Dembele - the problem lies far deeper that the players and coaching staff.

Could've sacked him at HT and given the second to good ol' Arry, who was in attendance.

He looks so out of his depth it’s unreal. I guess when he goes Lange will also depart which will be a big change. Hopefully we will have the don rolling with a big pot of cash to get us going again
