A good point. However, do you honestly believe if we were in the Europa this season, he’d have the slightest chance of winning it? Not a hope.
I do. Cause it's mostly against lower league level opposition.
If we played the same way we did last night against most of those teams, we'd win comfortably.
If he was allowed to lose every week in the league and not worry about the sack, and pick strong teams for Europe and rest them for the league, then there's every chance he or anyone who can spell their own name could win it.

In my years of following Spurs, I can't think of a period where we felt so disconnected. Yes, we have had lean years, trophy droughts, and so forth. It's sad, but we are a laughingstock. Fans abusing players and managers, infighting, Think of the meltdowns in recent times.

Mou sacked the week of a final, with Conte dropping truth bombs at a presser extraordinaire, finishing 17th yet winning a European trophy, whilst having Ange challenging fans. Add today's debacle with Micky, Porro and co.

Our captain is sending shots at the club today.

It's still not as bad as the Stellini/Mason interregnum but it's getting close.

What a mess.

We've lost only to the reigning champions in the Champions League so far - doing quite well considering everyone thought we'd just get walked over when we first qualified for it

You guys are certainly seeing things I’m not. I’m just seeing an utter and absolute shambles. Poorly trained and poorly motivated players making a hash of even the most simple tasks on the pitch.

You guys are seeing a potential trophy winning manager and squad.

Safe to say we are on different paths here.

I think over time it would get better than what it is, but what that would lolk like I have no idea.

Crucially maybe, is the point made by @ Postbox, which is noteworthy in my opinion.

What does peak Frank look like and the answer is not competing for titles or trophies. I don't see that in Frank whatsoever, both comments and demeanour.

I thought he would come in and ease his way into the demand, because he gave the impression if calm and determined. I was wrong.

So, I think it would impose in an undetermined time, but not to the point where I could see him presiding over glory.

So, at the very longest, this relationship should last until May.

It's 2031. Tottenham have just slipped to 15th in League 1 after an injury time winner scored by Port Vale's player manager Wayne Rooney. Beleaguered Spurs Manager Thomas Partey has asked for time and promises he's "fighting hard for the club". Spurs fans are angry.

But Matt1882 Matt1882 and CJJ CJJ will still be talking about Ange Postecoglou on TFC. :D

Yep, incredible how and why that bloke is still being mentioned.

Just insane.

The way this season is going I can genuinely see us finishing 18th and West Ham 17th. They only need 3 wins or so.

The season is a disaster and could well see the scum win the league and we get relegated.

17th wasn't a fluke, it's seriously concerning.
Stop being hyperbolic and talking out of your arse.
Not a chance we are in relegation trouble.

I tell you what put your money where your mouth is. You obviously think it is likely we get relegated. How about putting a grand on it, I will give you 10-1 odds which is very generous as according to you we could well get relegated.
We could put the 11k in escrow account.

I agree with you, but it just goes to show how poor the PL is , with form like this and the same last season we should have been in a relegation scrap but we won't be , I can't see 16th getting any more than lets say 35 points, so we have 18 games left and need about 8 or 9 points to stay up......

Wow, some statement.. We lost yesterday, shipping three goals, vs the mighty "11 matches without a win" Bournemouth.

And since when did this club win things, not to say comfortably?

When we finally picked up a cup again winning Europe last year, some of the posters here can't ridicule it enough.. when do you find joy in following Spurs?
