He probably wants out anyway.
How can any player enjoy this situation? They are shit and get booed every week.
Don’t be shit then?

Not what you want to see but he's about the last player we should be selling tbh. If we start flogging our handful of remaining good players then we genuinely might get relegated.
He's a fucking beast when he gets going. I think get him in left back And danso in the middle.Like most Dutchmen he has a very direct, no-nonsense approach to talking which leaves little to interpretation. Endearing.
Interesting he said he prefers left back. He's a left back all day!
Spence-Cuti-Vuskovic-VDV next season with Udogie and Porro supporting would be a very good base. With this kind of defensive stability we could do away with a Palhinha type of midfielder, and play some more progressive players in the base of midfield as 3 of those defenders can step up into midfield in attack.
Imagine Vuskovic having both Cuti and VDV to learn from either side? His learning curve would be in fast forward.
If we can manage to get a new contract into him, I'd make him captain.
He has 3 years left on his contract, Real can pay 9 figures or fuck off. Or a straight swap for Rodrygo.
Nothing about his interview suggests he's in any rush to leave but Real Madrid are Real Madrid.
No one was suggesting we sell Kane and Son to lift the rest of the shit squad so I don't get why they are doing it now.The problem with “sell Romero and Mickey now and start over” is that we’ll be playing in the Championship next year if we do.
He does on the pitch to be fair to him.Nope, just overly arrogant in my opinion. Do your talking in the dressing room and on the pitch.
At the end of the season, express your views if you must.
Your reasoning may be logical but would you trust the current recruitment team to get the right players in? Their record so far indicates otherwise.Whilst I agree that there are many should go before him, he is becoming a touch petulant. Not what you want to see from a leader.
Also, he’s probably our highest value player right now and if we need to replace most of the squad, selling him gets us more money to do that.
I agree. Players, manager, board, fans. And ground. All to blame one way or another.Your reasoning may be logical but would you trust the current recruitment team to get the right players in? Their record so far indicates otherwise.
It's a horrible situation we're in, and ALL parties are to blame.
I think him and Romero will both be gone in the summer. I just hope they get it done early so we can at least try to get decent replacements in. They won't, of course. He's starting to make a habit of this, can't remember what game he and Spense snubbed Frank and the supporters at home.
Starting to give off the vibes of a petulant child, and I thought he was the only one who showed a glimpse of captain material; we are bereft of real leaders, and I include the coaching staff and board in that.
What a mess!![]()

It's a complete mess. God only knows how to fix it.
A good player but honestly hard to give a shit if any of them leave.
